A good dark ride, Gold Rusher is not overly scary, but it is rather charming. The stuff inside usually makes me chuckle, being that you can easily tell that this ride is a bit older. This is a great dark ride to enjoy with kids, and it wont freak them out too much.

There was nothing inside. It looks neat on the outside, but I think there may have been 2 or 3 props in the ride itself. Needs to be rejuvenated

Average dark ride at best. Nice way to cool off, nice use of space, and I honestly wish more parks would have these just to give me somethign fun to do when I want to catch my breath and cool off. Not scary, not traditional/historical (like the OLD MILL), not overly belly fun (like NOAHS ARK), but a mildly effective dark ride nonetheless.

This ride is ok when your really hott and need a ride to just chill out on. It can cool you off but dont expect much. It seems very cheap and its not really a lot of fun. Theres never a line for it so you can just walk on.

Although it isnt scary, the Gold Rusher is a true dark ride. The theming is relatively good for Kennywood, and the pretzel syle cars are a nice touch too. If only the ride wasnt so corny...:thumbsup: Its my least favorite of the three dark rides at Kennywood (Old Mill, Noah) but I still like it!

If you really like classic dark rides, then this one is a must. Plenty of old spooky effects that are pretty cool. There definitely arent many dark rides like this around anymore, which is a shame. Gold Rusher is a classic "ride pretzel style" haunted house-type ride. Kids will get spooked (but not frightened), and adults will enjoy its corny charm. A fun break from thrill rides and coasters!!

Some neat old effects, and short lines. Great technology for when it was made. Ride it for the historical value.

Not the best "dark ride" around (i.e. not in the class of Knoebels Haunted Mansion), but still fun. Any park that keeps not only 1, but three dark "attractions" running deserves credit!

When this was new it was a great ride. Now, sadly, its past it! The scenes are well done- my favorites are the spider, dynamite and coyotes. Still worth the ride if the line isnt too long, suitable for the youngsters. The cars have been breaking down a lot lately, but rumor has it that new, more powerful motors are being installed this off-season.

A charming yet boring ride...great for kids but adults will hate it. If theres a long line for it skip it.
