This has got to be the best new coaster of 2001! An airtime beast to say the least. Every new coaster should look to PR for inspiration. Great drop, even better second drop and tons of bunny hops. Even a double dip!

Morgan turned a great, rough ride with no air time into a even greater ride thats smooth with plenty of air time. In a word...coaster ecstacy.

This is a very good ride. Starting at the Alpengeist type drop its speed is eye watering. After the drop this thing screams up into the sky over the station. Then it takes its infamous plunge down the cliffside ducking under the thunderbolt before arcing back up the hill. It then makes another short plunge, shooting back up under the Thunderbolt and does a flyby the stationhouse. PR then does a couple of hops as it turns around and enters the station house. Between the drop and the brakes this is almost a 10. The lack of contour to the 2nd drop keeps it from a solid ten. I like a slightly rounded drop, it hides the track and builds suspense. Now for my real complaints. The day I rode they ran one train. Later in the day with a 90+ minute wait there was still only one train running. The ops looked like the cast of extras from "Dawn of the Dead." So did the public for that matter. We all shuffled along the walkway inch by inch. I started to count the gum on the one roof. We saw a rabbit. The monotony occasionally broken by the lift chain engaging the train. The lift is sooo slow. It easily takes up 3/4 of the ride. Then in a blink the ride is over. It is too short. Unfortunately its location doesnt give it any options to expand. I think my 7 is generous.

The best steel "sit-down" coaster in PA. Sitting in the first seat is terrifying while going up the first lift. I rode the "Steel Phantom" ten times once in one day and this is so much better. I knew to expect the second hill which is completely horrifying when youre looking over the top of it down. The speed bumps give plenty of airtime which is GREAT!!!!!!!!

I loved this ride when I visited although I did like the Steel Phantom and I hated to see it go this one is much smoother, faster, and steeper. The only thing it is missing is a tunnel. Maybe in the future they will add one. Good job Kennywood keep them coming because I live for coasters. As long as you keep building them I will come. This ride is in my top 20 for steel coasters. Phantom's Revenge is a steel roller coaster. (Hyper). It was built in 2001 by Arrow/Morgan. It is a terrain coaster also. It is 160' tall, it is 3,200' long, it travels at speeds of 82 mph. It lasts around 2:15.

Still the best "second hill" of any coaster. The ride seems short, but thats probably because it doesnt slow down for the loops and rolls anymore. Good air, no over the shoulder restraints, but they should switch the belts to those used on the Jack Rabbit.

Best steel coaster Ive ever had the pleasure of riding so far. Very fast and very intense. The headchopper at the bottom of the 200+ foot drop is quite an eye-opener. This baby travels at 80+ mph and feels faster. The speed, acceleration. terrain and G forces make for an awesome coaster. Our family drove over 500 miles to ride this coaster and visit Kennywood and it was well worth it.
