I like this coaster, but it is very rough. Near the end there is a lot of airtime. Must say though that this is a good looking roller coaster.

Call me crazy but I didnt really have any problems with loading when I was there. I thought it was pretty fast even though they were only operating one train.

The queue is nice, very roomy and such.

The ride itsself is allright. Its very jerky and fast, a lot of banking, sharp turns, and hills. But thats what you have to expect in a Wooden Twister Coaster. I didnt want to re ride it because the line was getting kind of long due to the one-train operation.

Im pretty sure I rode this one (one was closed but for some reason I cant be completely sure which). It was the first ride I hit in the park as well as the last, and was mostly a walk on. It wasnt a bad ride really, but the first thing I noticed was how slow the loading/unloading was. It took a prettly long time as the lap bars had to be reset about 3 times before actually heading out. The ride itself was pretty fast and a little shaky but not too bad. This changed on the second ride which was more rough and somewhat uncomfortable. Still it was fast and had some air. Id ride it again if they both were working as Im sure it adds alot to the experience.

The coaster itself is actually more of an 8, but horrible loading/unloading, multiple breakdowns, and lack of dueling (Tiger was closed) make this coaster lucky to get a 7. The ride itself is actually a lot of fun, speedy, with some good airtime here and there balanced by some good laterals. Also, nice weaving in and out of the track (hand- and headchoppers) is a bonus. Its unfortunate that I cant give this ride the 8 it deserves, but my pre-ride experience was so bad that the park should consider itself lucky it even got a 7.

Hmmm... according to the ratings, Tiger seems to be the more popular side compared to Lion. Well, I know it was only one ride and woodies tend to need a couple to really get to know them, but Id have to say that Lion was my side of choice. Gwazi gave a little more airtime than I had remembered, still not great put some nice little pops of airtime here and there. The laterals were GCI fun and the dueling aspect could have been fun but was non-existant (still not as good as Hersheys dueler though). Overall, still a better than average wood coaster with some good characteristics and fortunately a ride that wasnt quite as rough as its counterpart. oops, I guess I better change it to a 7, though I think its more of a 7.5

I didnt enjoy this ride at all. The load times were just amazingly terrible, dispatching at just over three trains per 10 minutes. The first hill is about the best part of the ride, but this thing is rough. Its quite jerky, all banked turns - and none are taken in a relatively smooth way, either. I had one small pop of airtime, but thats it. The ride is fast, however its very jerky, its rough, and the layout isnt good enough to be running as a stand-alone coaster. The dueling element would REALLY help this coaster, but as is, its worth a ride - unless youre brittle - but not much more. I cant give it a 7, and a 6 is a bit low [Id maybe go 6.5], but Im not comfortable enough giving it a 7, so 6 it is.

Im not sure which side I went on, but one of them was closed. It was my first ride of the day. The line was much faster than I was told before I got on. It was also really short and well-themed. I chose back seat, and off it went. I didnt expect too much, but the first drop was awesome. It was fast and huge. The rest of the ride was bumpy, but in a good way. It mostly only had turns, so I wish it had more drops and airtime, but it was still really fun. After a while of these turns, it stopped fast into the breaks. What a ride!

The best part is the first drop. I get headaces on this head kittie. Its still a good ride.

It was a fun woody. It had a lot of surprises on it w/the twisting drops & it had some good airtime on it. The ride was intense & it gives you that out of control experience. If only the ride was dueling when I was there, & maybe it wouldve had a higher rating. Unfortunately, by how it stands, its definitely not better than the Lightning Racer at Hersheypark. Definitely ride both sides of Gwazi when youre visiting BGT. I only rode the Lion side when I went there.
