This was enjoyable. But it was raining when we took a ride on it so we didnt really get to experience everything the ride had to offer

I like movies, so I enjoyed getting a behind the scenes look at MGM. There were some cool props from past MGM movies. Catastrophe was cool and then they drive you behind the set so you can see the backside and all the equipment it takes to make it work. I also like the ride through all the workshops.

I had forgotten how good and lengthy this ride is. However if you have been on the Universal Hollywood tram tour this will seem a bit small in comparison.

The tram tour borders on pathetic but Catastrophe canyon is REALLY COOL.

First of all, there is nothing like this at Universal Studios Florida. You have to drive 3,000 miles to get a tour like this. The Backlot Tour gives you a good chance to look at some of the sets or props used in movies you know and love. Catastrophe Canyan is slightly worse than Earthquakes disaster at Universal Florida, but only slighty. What makes this as good as Earthquake, if not better, is the rest of the tour. Well done by Disney, but the street scenes that make up Manhatten arent even close to those found at Universal.

I can understand Disney wanting a Studios park knowing that Universal was building theirs up the street, but most of the things they tried to copy, they did a horrible job doing so. This is one of the worst. The Universal tram tour in LA has so many things going on it is the biggest attraction in the park. This one has almost nothing going on, except Catastrophe Canyon, which is merely okay. They need more of these special effects things or they just need to give up. An extra point for the AFI Showcase at the end of the ride.

A little bit of a disappointment.
