I felt this is something left to be desired. The overall experience is somewhat mixed. First of all, I found that there was nothing really special about this show. You could find water fontain, fireworks, and fire effect in other show as well. But the good part is that they all are all well synchronized which is probably the best part of the show in my opinion. However, there are some dull part of the show which I am a little confused about. I am also not under the impression of the tourch inside the globe. It is just, like what it is, a tourch in the globe, but nothing too special. Maybe it has a very special when the show was first debut before 2000 where that year is very special to mankind. The other thing I think there could be better is the color of fireworks is not as colorful as other Wishes. I am more into the firework itself than other effect so the show doesnt reall appeal to me too much.

As fireworks shows go its good, but Im not that big a fan of fireworks shows in general. I feel that my time can be better spent elsewhere.

After I saw it, I left unimpressed. There used to lots of lighting interaction bewteen countries in the older version show. Right now its gone. And WHAT IS THE POINT by watching the globe just spinning with nothing happen for 3 to 5 mins during the second act where the globe first appeared. The finale is that the Globe will be open and there is a fire tourch inside. Yeah....Ok...SO? thats interesting, but far from spectacular. The music synchronized the fireworks well though.

My friend said that this was the "Most beautiful thing hed ever seen." While it wasnt quite like that for me, it was still EXTREMELY cool and really fun to watch. I got a spot right at the edge of the lake, and I felt those flames all the way from there I was sitting, which really surprised me. The music that goes along with all the lights is awesome, and that globe....wow....

Excellent fireworks display and pyro show with the gloating globe. Thanks to a sweet CM hookup we got priority seating in Italy and the view of fireworks with the Spaceship Earth was really cool .The fire barge was insane since we could feel the heat from far away, but the show was kind of short to me. A little longer and a better finale would have been appreciated, and I really didnt get the whole 5 minutes of a floating, rotating globe. Could easily be a 10 but since its shown pretty much every day as far as I know, I can understand why they dont go all-out.

I know this will probably get some comments posted.. but I am not a huge fan of this firework show. The first time, I thought I just had bad seats. However, this time my husband and I waited for 2 hours on the veranda of Rose Crown Pub (we got the best seat since we were on our honeymoon). I had read in multiple travel books that it has the most amazing view. Well, the view was unbelievable, but did nothing for me a far as the show. I think it is very difficult to see the images on the globe and even to hear. It gets so smokey that it is even difficult to see what the lazers are doing. The actual fireworks are decent, and the story at the beginning about sitting around the campfire is cool. But at far as the rest of the show, I just dont see it. I think fantasmic tells a much better "story." I really think my main complaint is the view of the big globe. Sorry, I keep trying to fall in love, I just cant!

Fireworks are undeniably one of the most impressive nighttime spectacles man has created. However, most firework displays just leave me craving for more afterwards, or in other words I’m just not completely satisfied. That’s how it is with my local firework displays. Heck, it’s the same with the gargantuan Boston Forth of July fireworks display. Disney seems to be the lone exception to this, as all of the fireworks displays I’ve seen from them just leave me in awe afterwards. Illuminations is no different.

Punctuating any visit to Epcot, immediately upon closing divert your eyes towards the dark sky above the lagoon for a truly amazing spectacle. As with any fireworks display, getting a great spot is critical for maximum enjoyment. Of all locations I’ve viewed the show from, my favorite is from the France Pavilion. Leading up to the show, loud music booms around World Showcase, building anticipation for the spectacle. Then, it’s time.

Illuminations is just mind-boggling. The beautiful soundtrack Disney utilizes is perfectly synchronized with all of the show’s components enhancing the experience. And the fireworks, just wow! Disney uses an absolutely stunning arsenal of fireworks of varying size and color, leading to just some incredible combinations lighting up the sky, though Wishes' are far superior (not because Illuminations' are bad, but because Wishes' are just that incredible). Not only are the fireworks just flat out an impressive sight, but the addition of lasers, fire, and my personal favorite, the powerful and beautiful Earth Globe that floats along the lagoon, just make an already great attraction just flat out an awe-inspiring performance. Along with being a highly entertaining spectacle, it’s quite long as well.

Simply put, Illuminations is a must for any visit at Epcot. The stunning array of fireworks synchronized flawlessly with all of the other elements just make this one of the best nighttime spectacles out there, though it's just behind Wishes in my opinion. Under no circumstances should this incredible spectacle be skipped since it’s just a mind-blowing show that is pretty much unmatched by any other firework display out there.
