the first time i went to the park it was brand new and i saw hardly any animals. but i went again last summer and geez the park has changed soo much! i love this drive, the safari was great and i got a good experience looking at all the animals the second time around. good job, once again, Disney. 10

The chase part at the end is phony + unnecessary, but the animals are awesome.

Interesting ride, in which you get to see many different types of animals. It has some mild thrills in it, so you do get some bumps and dips. The tour guide we had seemed interested and knowledgeable about the animals. It is also a pretty long ride 20-25 minutes that should be done when at AK.

Fun ride and something that AK was built for. One good thing is that when your on it you dont see the rest of the park so it fully submerses you into the setting. Showcases a lot of animals and they try to hide the fences (i could see the fences and things that were designed to keep animals in their places). one good thing is that the have a list of all the animals with pics on the vehicle so when you see an animal you can try to identify it. at the end it turns into a high speed chase to stop a poacher. this is one of those rides that disney said "u kno are claim to fame is makin are rides based on a story" so they had to try to develop one for it. the plots not that great and the ending of the story is tupid, dont wanna ruin it for anyone so all ill say is u dont help. The one thing the plot does provide for is an exciting high-speed drive through africa..that provides some mild thrills and fun.

decent, with nothing spectacular, but not a complete waste of time. the whole plot was unnecessary, but it was cool to see alot of animals close up. average, but maybe worth a ride

Depends on the tour guide. The animals werent by the bus when I went on it. So I missed a lot of it. A funny tour guide will make or brake this ride for you. And where the animals are in their habitats with respect the the road.

Youll never see as many animals on an African Safari as you will on this ride. Theyve beautifully recreated the various habitats for these animals. You do not feel like you are at an amusement resort. Since you are dealing with real animals, they do not work off cues or sing songs, which is what I think critics expect. On one afternoon journey the magnificent lion stood on his hilltop, surveying his territory. The vehicles are great too, with placards showing the dozens of animals that can be seen there. Ive always enjoyed my tour guides, who have delightful South African accents and inform while they perform.

I really enjoyed this ride and seeing the animals and their surroundings. It was an awesome safari, the animals even got real close. The plot took an interesting twist at the end that was a bit unnecessary but didnt ruin the ride at all.

This is easily one of the most unique attractions at WDW and is a true must see. This is probably the closest that anyone will ever get to an actual African safari, and you always see a lot of animals. The entire experience is breathtaking, and its a stunning attraction.
