Killimanjaro Safaris is a lazy mans zoo. That basically sums it up. I mean all you do is step in a vehicle, lay back, and watch in amazement as youre driven to various and very interesting animals such as rhinos, cheetahs, lions, and other beloved animals. Just like when visiting a zoo, each time is different as I can guarantee that the animals wont do the exact same thing each time. In addition, this is a very long attraction, but fascinating the whole way through. My only gripe about this attraction is how corny it is at times, especially the part about the poachers. This beats the Bronx Zoo anyday, but not by much.

Very cool. the animals are not afraid and will come right up to the vehicle. i liked that Disney tried to actually add a storyline instead of creating just another saffari ride.

a must do at animal kingdom. there are lots of animals and the jeep is very bumpy and just fun to ride around in by itself. i will however give it an 8 because the lines are always too long and the end is a bit corny.

This ride is good. The reason it gets an 8 instead of a 10 is because of the wait time.

Cool ride, but I wanted a bit more. The ride was quite long and there were some unique animals, but they were pretty far in the distance during my ride and most of them were sleeping making a rather dull ride. However, a few were up, but in both of my rides a majority of them were asleep, which hurts my rating.

This attraction is perfect in every way except for two. First the line moves way too slowly, second the lions are not as viewable as the other animals. I have great pictures of everything but the lions. Other than that, the experience is one of a kind and not to be missed.

Killimanjaro Safaris was the cream of the crop of Animal Kingdoms attractions. I went on this once back in 2000 and absolutely loved it. I dont remember having that bad of a wait for this as I think it was around 20-30 minutes. Also, kudos to Disney for moving that line fast. Killimanjaro Safaris was absolutely breathtaking. Throughout my entire ride I got amazing views of many animals including zebras, rhinos, and especially giraffes. The giraffes came so close to the vehicle when they were eating that I could actually smell them. Also, the river and bridge portion were unique and cool elements. I cant think of any reason why you would skip this attraction if you are at Animal Kingdom.

It ws kind of stupid they went too fast so you didnt get to see any of the animals

Interesting ride that you cannot find anywhere else other than the real Africa.

FAMILY FUN! The guides are great and know what they are talking about. One of the best things in the Animal Kingdom.
