So awesome! See my review of The California Adventure Tower of Terror to see just how they stack up side to side. The thing is, its more than a drop. theres two stops on floors to see the best special effects EVER and the elevator actually moves horizontally. Then the narrator (Rod Sterling) says somethign eerie and you wait... In the pitch black darkness... then... AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!
An excellent ride! It has a noteable theme, intensity, etc. If you travel within 100 miles of the Tower and dont go on it, I consider you crazy!
A frightening and thrilling experience all packed into one hotel. And, as always, Disney backs it up with excellent theming. The random-ride sequences spice the ride up wonderfully. Just looking at the hotel from Sunset Blvds entrance is a very ominous sight to whats leading up, that is, only if your brave enough to ride it.
yes this ride deserves all the accolades. More suspenseful than any other drop tower as you dont know what next. The special effects are great. The use of seat belts versus, OTSRs give a unique feel. I rode at night and didnt see much when the doors opened making it even more scary.
I really like this ride. I think its awesome that Disney hasnt fallen in a rut on this one, as they keep changing aspects of the ride. The first time I rode, I lucked out, there was only a four or five minute wait; I rode twice. Good ride, great theme, awesome.
I LUV this ride!!! it deserves 10/10!! the themeing is gr8 wen you are in line and there are trees for shade on hot days. Then when you get inside the old rundown hotel the attention to detail was amazing, it was so kool! then the story starts which breaks down the waiting time...it was a gr8 lead up 2 the ride! then when you finally get 2 the actual ride, it just gets even better!! i love everuthing about this ride, the atmosphere is awsome!! and the drops are so much fun (specially when the lift doors open and you can see the whole park)....DONT MISS IT!! even if there is a massive wait...youll be kept entertained

This is my favorite ride....ANYWHERE. I ahve been on some of the best rides and coasters anywhere (Boulderdash, MF, TTD, S:RoS at SFNE, Spiderman, Storm Runner etc..) and this is the king of them all. It has the perfect combination of thrills, scariness, and just plain fun. It is the most detaled ride anywhere, also. The theming as a whole is the best of any ride anywhere, and even the queue has a mysterious mist with 30s music that adds to the excitement. The drop tower itself is awesome, exhilerating, offers loads of airtime, and gives a great view of MGM and Blizzard Beach. It really is the best ride anywhere.
This is my favorite attraction anywhere! One thing that I should note. Tower of Terror isnt exactly a freefall ride. It doesnt crank you up slowly, nor does it just let you drop. It actually pushes you up and down. It is still the best ride around!
Disneys best ride! Simply amazing, awesome and fun. Outstanding theming makes the queue not such a boring and unbearable experience (if you dont use a FastPass). Cast members at this attraction are great, you really do believe you are right at the Hollywood Tower Hotel. A fun, smooth ride. I want to go and take a ride now after writing this!
best theming ever! frightning experience for all ages. this is my second favorite ride ever only second to Millennium Force
