This is the perfect Family Ride. first you go in and you learn about Jean Lafitte and see what kind of weapons and you see a nice painted pic of him. Then you get to the second part that begins the Story of Something but Iam not telling. The you climb abord the Ship and Set Sail. This ride Is A Must See at Jazzland Theme Park

This ride is pretty cool! The motion simulator is pretty realistic and its airconditioned so its also a good way to cool off.

I LOVE this ride. The preshow is extremely intersting and the motion simulator is awsome. Its also nice because it is air conditioned. I think the name is "The secret voyage of Jean Lafitte" not the Cajun Pirates Show.

This is a nice way to cool off without getting wet but other than that I really dont like it. You go through a series of preshows before you ride it. For a non-local the story may be intresting but it just doesnt cut it for me.

The Pirates simulator ride is the most well-done and excellently themed ride at Jazzland. First you enter a pre-show which .. well, Im not going to spoil it :-) . Anyway, you enter the main screen room and you sit in the simulator. The film is very good. The acting is well-done and the effects are great. Definitely worth the wait to view this ride.
