Its a great coaster! A virtual air time machine. Its got a steep and fun drop. Alot of curves and lateral forces and those bunny hops at the end are wonderful.
I live in Cincinnati so I go to Kings Island alot. None of the coasters at Kings Island has as much airtime as Cornball Express. It was a great ride! At one point in the ride, the train crests a hill, which provides airtime, and, while still out of your seat, the train goes a around a curve. Very cool!
Believe all the hype for this tiny coaster. It is now my favorite woodie after riding it August 7, 2002. The twists and turns are great, the confrontations with the other rides are great, and the airtime is excellent, I was almost standing on the last 2 hills. Better than any ride at IB by far, great job IB!
This coaster is awesome! I love how its packed in and around the other rides at the park. And theres just so much airtime!
I had extremely high hopes for this ride and the first time I ride it I was like "Wow, that was really fun, but not that good." But then I rode it in the front seat. Great view and some of the most intense moments of ejector air. The laterals are really intense on the helix. The back gives great first drop airtime as some great airtime on the big drops. WARNING! Those last two bunny hops look small but are 2 of the most intense moments of airtime out there, anywhere on the train! Ride it at least 2 times so you can really enjoy it. It is a great coaster.
Perfect Coaster! Fun, fast, air-time, unexpected thrills, and a truly unique ride. Yes there are bigger, yes there are faster, but this one delivers everything its supposed to and soooooo much more.
One look at the ride and you know your in for a unique experience. The queue line is actually just the stairway that takes you up to the 30ft high station; from here you get a great view of the ride layout. It interacts with the Hurricane roller coaster, log flume, and Tigrr Coaster wonderfully. It dives over the lake, throws you around and out of the car almost constantly. You even get a great view of it from the kiddie area because the Cornball Express is literally built over the top of it. Its awesome when your sitting in the station for the miniture train and the Cornball goes whizzing overhead.
HOLY COW! I have a new favorite seat on this ride. Even though the back has 8 or 9 moments of great air, the front has 5 or 6 moments of the most insane, extreme, fly out of your seat ejector air Ive ever had the privilege of experiencing. I mean, I really was almost ejected from the train in a couple spots. The two absolute best moments of air in my coaster riding career were on the hill that enters Hoosier Hurricanes structure and on the bunny hill after the helix. I couldnt believe how amazing it was, every woodie lover MUST ride this ride. Seems to get better every year.
Small coaster, but really suprising. The drop is great as it rolls past the log flume.
For some reason I expected this to be a glorified kiddie coaster. I was wrong. Its amazing what they did with such a small coaster. like all great woodies, sit in the back for the best ride.
