This is the second best flume that Ive been on. It falls measurably short of Splash Mountain, despite the amazing final drop. The animatronics and gags are all great, but the whole ride doesnt gel like Splash Mountain does. Ripsaw uses Universals trademark smooth plastic animatronics, which are distinctive, but not as engaging as Disneys moving furry little creatures. And Ripsaw lacks the absurdly catchy songs of Splash Mountain. Call me cheesy, but I really get into the music on Splash Mountain.
This ride would be a 9, but I subtracted a point because some moron decided to install lap bars on this. Lap bars on a flume is one of the more retarded examples of corporate park restraint excess to come down the pipeline in recent times.

This is, without a doubt, the best log flume I have ridden. This leaves Splash Mountain in the dust. Themeing isnt a top priority to me. I dont really care if the theming is outstanding or mediocre. Ripsaw Falls was good enough. The drop is amazing. All the little drops hidden throughout the ride were fun. To me, this is the best log flume. I also got very wet.

Islands of Adventure really has the wettest ries ever. I went on this in March think you wont get too wet ,like Splash Mountain, but not only does the main drop and a small one behind it soak you, you got people spraying you from above and jets in your face. My cell phone almost broke from the water. Great ride with great scenery but please, ride it in the summer.

Appearence very nicely themed and well maintained. Fun. Rerideable. Ride duration long.

looks so cute from the outside, but mr dudley was the best wet scream i have ever had. I saluted the mountie, got fooled by the quick drops. sound effects were great...errr aw..poink...blurgoooo...if u been there u know what i mean....Dudley for president..

I like to get wet on water rides which this ride does very well, but not as good as Popeye.
For quality of ride, I think that this is the best flume ride that I have ridden. Splash mountain has better theming, though. The ending of this ride is awesome. The theming seems to be well done, but to me Dudley Do Right is an obscure cartoon to base a ride on. For being second best in most of my key water ride rating indicators, I give this ride a 9. With Popeye, it creates the best 1,2 water ride punch Ive found anywhere.

omg i love the themeing and i love drops and i love this ride, so yeah it rox, i went on it like 600 times

This got the be the wildest and carziest flume ride that Ive ridden. The themeing is not on par to Disneys Splash Mountain, but with different style and characteristic. I like the line and the story behind the ride("Ive lost my train of thought". The final trop is where I could imagine I am falling down to a water fall when I am river rafting. This is a ride with pure fun, if not really immersive.

Ripsaw Falls is a great log flume. It looks kind of intimidating from the midway because of the jagged theming, but its really great. The line moves fairly quickly considering its a log flume, and you get a nice long ride with a few drops. Then once you go under the midway and make a turn left, a lot of the time youll get hit with water cannons which is another way to get even wetter than you are!

Im not sure why everyone loves this ride other than that you get soaked. The final drop is great... but the theming on this ride is awful. I mean like, horrible, compared to Splash Mountain.
