I loved this ride, and it was my first experience with a hyper coaster. The first drop was incredible, the chain stops short, giving you a ton of time at the crest of the hill, then you plunge 250+ feet into a dark tunnel at 85mph. The tunnel is like 120ft, but your goin so fast you cant even tell! then you go up into the turn, and you get a great view of colossus and the surrounding mountains. Then up and down you go, at high speeds and more intense turns. The 540 degree helix was perhaps the best element, and overall, my debut on a hyper was great.Two years later I am forced to redo my rating. While it is a very good ride, it just doesn not match the half-dozen or so other hypercoasters I have been on since Goliath. It was a nice start, but I have since found a love for airtime and this ride was lacking. It was still really powerful in the helix and a good ride, but I thing my Goliath will end up reigning supreme.

This ride was alot of fun. The lift felt like it was never going to start. The best is when you sit in FRONT. You are the first ones to see the huge drop that you are about to go down. You must ride in FRONT on this ride! And the fact that the people in the front have nothing to push on
(like the seat in front of you) also makes it even more great. GREAT ROLLER COASTER!!!!!!

My #5 out of 70 coasters and a bunch of non-coasters. Similar to CPs Millennium Force in speed and style, just a notch below with a height
of 255 feet.

OMG! This ride is great. The drop is great, the double helix is great, everything about this ride is great. You can just feel the Gs all through this ride, especially on the double helix.

This ride isnt anything very special, its ok. I liked nitro more, but this is still a decent ride. Doesnt have any very good characteristics to my opinion, and i blacked out on the helix.

Excellent, excellent ride. An unbeleivable drop. Scary as heck because you slow creep around banked turns with nothing to hold on to. But it is missing something...hmmmmmmm... maybe an inversion. It would have been a ten if they would have thrown in a barrel-roll somewhere.

This ride is a must for anyone in the So.Cal area. The ride to the top is an awe enspireing time to get ready for the awesome accelleration of the first drop. the view from the top is great. You can see most the rides and you can even see scream being built. You feel the acceleration and you pull your hands down just as you go into the tunnel. You go through a series of raven turns and hills and get alot of air time. YOu finallly get to my favorite part of the ride. The Helix. You spin many time while pulling up to four Gs. You reach the station and are ready to jump in line again. If you want the Best ride possible ride in the front. You hang over the edge of the hill and get a good look down into the pitch black tunnel.

This is no Millenium Force, but hey, what is? However, it is still a great ride. Very fast, and some good elements. I only wish that it wasnt so close in design to Titan. If you ride one you have pretty much rode the other. Still, this is a cant miss.

Fun ride, great first drop, and the ride isnt too short. Its consistently fun throughout in my opinion, there is nothing really great about it, and since it lacks inversions it prevents it from getting a 10. But the helix near the end is great too. The restraints are nice too.

Best hypercoaster out there. The only setback is the lack of leg room, but who cares! It rocks!
