This is a really good woodie. With all the other mega-coasters at Cedar Point, Blue Streak does not get much attention, but anyone who visits the park should ride it.

Well, this is a classic woodie that was stripped of its title when steel loopers and the such showed up. This ride has no themeing what-so-ever. It has some great airtime hills and the ride ops will put you in the front if you dont have enough people on the train. And that sucks. It is an original coaster. No cloones unlike Batman - The Ride. This ride has some very comfortable trains an some of the greatest lift hill noises every. Only Windjammer has better noises. The ride has descent speed, nice hills, and some great old fun. No headchoppers what-so-ever. My ratings are, Design - 8, Themeing - 1, Fun Factor - 8, Re-Ride - 7, Intensity - 5, Scare Factor - 2, Originality - 8. The final score is...5.5 which rounded is a 6. A small, classic woodie with great frontseat airtime. Blue Streak has a special charm set between the Great Lake/Harbor Area and the monster that is Raptor, which can only add to the ride. The line can easily get long (30-->45) on busy days, so ride it at least once, in the front row.

Great air on this one (always a plus) and a terrific location but it can be a bit rough. Dont get me wrong, just like all of Cedar Points coasters, its a must ride - I just dont need more than one to make me happy.

Its a great ride that the whole family can enjoy...especially fun at night.

Highly underrated, this is a great, classic woodie with a lot of airtime.

The Blue Streak is a sit down wood roller coaster. It was built in 1964. It is a O&B. It was built by PTC and designed by Frank Hoover, John Allen. It is 78' tall, it is 2,558' long.This is a very fun coaster. It has alot of hills and alot of airtime. It is also very smooth I consider it to be a classic coaster. It is still one of my favorites at C.P. I ride it every time I go to the park in the summer. It is fast, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

I personaly think this coaster is one of the best rides in Cedar Point. It is a classic and should be a ride everyone enjoys.
