I would not be sad to see this go. Nothing rememberable, nothing even above average. Not up to Disney par.
A good (but not great) motion ride. Imagiative and with excellent cue-line detail. I like having a droid captain the ship.
Ive always loved Star Tours. When I went to MGM I was happily suprised that they had a Star Tours here. Before, I had only ridden it at Disneyland.
Hmm, forgot to review this one.... Anyhow, its a decent sim, even if the tech isnt cutting edge. Fun theming - a great photo op outside with the full sized AT-AT walker, R2D2 + C3P0 inside, and cool factor doesnt get any higher than swooping in on the Death Star. The range of motion on the film feels pretty good (especially the indoor part) and it certainly shakes back and forth a lot. Some reviewers have been too harsh, IMHO. Not the parks best ride, but fun + well worth going on.
A googd simulator ride with good theming. Leaves something to be desired...
It may not look it from this page, but why do alot of people hate this ride? I personally think it is great. The que line has to be one of the most themed ques in MGM, let alone other parks. I have a beef though with the movie in the lines to get the the "plane". The woman is very outdated. If this is supposed to be a plane flight IN THE FUTURE, then the movie should look like its from IN THE FUTURE! The ride and the little robot pilot are great, so its an overall great ride!
A DREAM for a HUGE Star Wars fan!
Thouroughly entertaining, really feels like your moving and falling.
Your basic ride simulator, it was fun but not anything too exciting. The queue line had good theming.
Nothing more then any other ride simulator. This ride is a classic though. All of the characters and your pilot make this ride very entertaining.
Pretty good, though I must say something has to be done about the shop, its horrible!
