I think it runs more smoothly than the Corkscrew at CP and I my have gotten lucky that MiA is empty so ther was no line. OK to ride once or if you like inversions since MiA is light in that area.

The Corkscrew is a steel sit down roller coaster with 2 inversions. It was built by Arrow in 1979. It is 70' tall, it is 1,250' long. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

Times ridden: 2 ~ Ride experience: 7 ~ Layout: 6 ~ Thrill factor: 7 ~ Landscaping: 3 ~ Evaluation: Corkscrew is basically an Arrow cookie cutter patterned after the original found at Knotts. The ride features two corkscrews and not much else.I found it to be much more smoother than the other Arrows featuring the double corkscrew element. I recommend it when theres not a long line.

Way too short, and another one train coaster at this park. And to make the one train op even slower, they have to manually kick the resraints to open each train. One of the ugliest stations ever.

I actually rerode this after a horrible first experience. Since it seemed much better I rewrote my whole review. APPEARANCE-8 I love the bold colors on this line and the older style loading platform. It also looks very nice in the middle of the park and they would be hard pressed to use this land for anything else. CAPACITY-3 I have actually seen this ride with a line and it just crawls. On a slow day though it is a walk on. RIDE QUALITY-3 Still pretty rough but if you ride in the front seat of each car it helps with leg room and you can force your arms out so the OTSR does not kill you. FUN-2 I will never like this type of ride but at least with my new seating discovery it is worth riding. RERIDE-5 I will ride it most times I enter the park since they have so few coasters. At a better park this would be on my no ride list. OVERALL-21 AVG 4.2 I will go with the four since it is still not that great, but it is no longer my least favorite ride.

Average Arrow corkscrew. Same as at CP, but iwthout an inversion. Better drop, and nothing else to it. Horrible capacity again.

What can I say. Boring and stupid, but in the back the air is good and I liked the corks but nothing special to this one at all.

This Ride Is Actually Pretty Cool. If You Havent Been There then get there and Ride It. It Starts Out With a little Drop Out Of The Station and thn you start climbing up the 1st hill. Then you drop just a little bit before getting Yanked Into tight bank. then you drop down the big hill into a turn right by the station. Then you are thrusted into 2 giant corkscrews after that you turn into the station. Whew What a Fun Ride. Get Out There and Ride It. By Bretten Bailey

Arrow corkscrew. Pretty new paint job. Beautifully maintained train. Lovely landscaping. Same old ride youve had a hundred times before.
