Very smooth and very long makes an excellent ride on the Texas Giant. Probably the most under-rated ride in the world.

I love the ride to death. Texas Giant was awesome, and surprisingly, more intense than than I thought it would be! This first drop was one of the best ive been on! But it gets two points off for beating the h*** out of you! I came back to the station with a stomach-ache from being jammed into the lap bar multiple times, and a sore side from being caturpulted into the sides. Plus, this was the last ride of the night so I came home in pain. Awesome experience but TOO ROUGH!

Great coaster! This is my favorite at SFOT. Sit in the front for the best ride. This ride has it all and its very long. To me a long coaster is the best. I have recently rode it and it has new trains they seem to be less rough than the old ones.

Yes, this ride is rough, but thats what gives this ride character! This is a great ride, do not skip it because of its roughness!

Still my favorite coaster next to Superman Krypton coaster. The length and speed (especially on the last "lap" back to the station) are still unrivaled. Yes, the axel seats are really rough. The front set is the best.

I recently went on this ride (08/25-26/01) and let me tell you it was awful. It was too violent. It was nothing like when i went on this in 1999. It was actually great then. If you notice when you get to the station of the ride you see "Voted best wooden coaster in the world 99", thats because it was the best coaster in 99. But wheres 2000 and 2001? You wont see it because this ride is too rough and has changed alot over the years. But Ill judge it by what it was like in 99. A good 7 out of then
