This is a very good ride but it is way to rough. My back hurt after getting off. It slams you it throws you but its a very good ride. It has a funny way aboutit to make it seem as if your going alot faster than you actually going.
When I first sat down on this roller coster I felt like I was setting on my couch at home. The cusions are extreamly confortable. I never saw anything like that on ANY roller coster. This roller coaster is a classic, but it does need painting and renovating. I have notice that the lines for Screaming Eagle have been less due to the new wooden roller coster The Boss which is far better then the screaming eagle.
This is the coaster that I was raised on and nothing out there beats its air time.
This is truly a classic out and back coaster. Loads of air time with a nice rickety old feeling to the ride in general. The blue train is faster than the red one so the legend says but anyway you ride it, its a fantastic coaster.
Aww...a woody, my favorite type of coaster especially out and backs that are full of airtime and run back into the woods like this one.
I originally gave this a terrible review, bu after just returning from SFStL,I feel I was wrong. This is one of the greatest costers Ive ever been on.The airtime is unbelievable! The bunny hops are great and the ride through the woods id great too.Personally,I like this on better than the Boss. The Boss was so rough but so is this one.Its not near as bad though. After this I think Im going to find some more John Allen woodies to ride.
As I said before, SFSL now sucks, and this coaster used to be my #1 wood. I think the reason it was, was because I hadnt ridden that many woodies. It has a great layout, and you get some sort of airtime on almost every hill, but the hills are bumpy, and it just doesnt have anything great.
Great Ride Lots Of Air! But A Little Rough But a True Classic
A classic out and back with a little more air than most.
