This ride wasnt completely horrible. Its pretty intense and the inversions are fun, but there is plenty of headbanging. I would go back on this ride and figure out ways to reduce the headbanging. Also, the ride is a bit short, but like I said before, its still good.

This ride has not aged well at all. It was my first inverted coaster and I loved it when I was younger, mostly because it was nice and smooth. Well I went on it the other day for the first time in 5 years, and it was so rough I could not tell which elements were being executed when, as I had a hard time keeping my eyes open. This is the roughest steel coaster Ive ridden so far, and sadly I had to remove it from my top 10 to be replaced with Superman.

I prefer Mind Eraser to its twin that is five hours to the west on I-90. The ride, though the same, was remarkably better. While in line, the darned thing broke down a couple of times, so we almost were compelled to skip the ride. It turned out ok and we rode in the middle of the train, which automatically reduces the headbanging. The ride was actuall fairly fun. The first two inversions are always wildly disorienting because of the unique nature of the design, and then the third one (which is sort of like an Immelman) was pretty neat as well. That third inversion also came close to giving me a case of cardiac arrest with the awesome footchopper, something I dont remember being so good at Darien Lake. The same goes for some awesome footchoppers in the double inline twist, and overall it was a decent ride. While not among the best of the Inverts, even it can be fun. As I noted after getting off, my head was shaking but not banging because of the pillow-esque pads that surrounded my head, so that probably helped and I also cant specifically recall if the other SLC that I rode had them. Overall, a better than expected ride for me, a ride that we almost ended up missing.

this ride is very shakey, youll defintly come off it with a headache. The ride itself is pretty fun, the back-to-back corkscrews are neat, but when you compare it to B:TDK and superman (its in between both) it pails in comparison.

Your standard Vekoma SLC. Ive had different feelings with this coaster, sometimes Ive had smooth rides and other times Ive had really rough rides, so its hard to say. The "foot chopper" by the inline twist is great and seems to get me everytime, though.

They actually felt the need to clone this thing? Its hard to believe that they actually built these things well after B&M came up with Batman. I guess they just wanted to put cheaper inverts in their smaller parks or something. Well, how about tearing these things out of the ground and putting up Batmans. I had heard bad things about Mind Eraser, but just figured that it was all talk. I officially know that B&M is the king of inverts. I boarded the ride and did a little inspection. "Hmmmm, the seat is a little uncomfortable, but these things seem fairly soft so I should be good with the headbanging thing." HA. The only way I would have been okay is if those things were as soft as marshmallows. I had never experienced anything like that before. It wasnt so much a head hurting thing, it was a ears ringing and STINGING thing. Man. Well, at least I can check it off of my list, but that is about it. The sad thing is, I really liked the layout. It really had potential.

Fast, fun, and intense Vekoma SLC. Some people love to knock these mass manufactured coasters, I dont get it. They (Vekoma, the manufacturer) have basically created the Ford model T of inverted coasters, making it affordable for relatively small parks (like SFNE) to have one. Only 2100 feet of track (and a small foot print)yet they still manage a 100 first drop and five very cool inversions, all taken at a relentless 55 mph. Keep your head back against the head rest and you wont find this coaster very rough at all, keep it leaning forward and youre going to feel like the ball in a pin ball machine.

I love SLCs. They are rreally fun with tons of footchoppers. The rides first drop didnt feel too fast, but it was really fun. It had a small wait. I definitely want to ride this again. The inversions were crazy. They go up, then bang you against the restraints, but not in a painful way. The double-inline-twist was kind of predictable, but I expected only one twist, and it threw you into it, while you have MANY headchoppers around you. The ride felt pretty long even though its short. This is another must-ride.

Too slow through many of the inversions making for a less than comfortable ride. Its pretty okay, but nothing special or memorable.

If youve been on one Vekoma SLC.. youve been on all of them. They call it Mind Eraser for a reason. Its fun, but Ill never go on it again, especially when B&M makes such smooth inverted coasters.
