This 3D dark ride is worth the wait. The theming entering the ride is that of a New York news paper office. The details are well done with a focus on Spidermans boss as expecting his new reporters (who YOU are) to be over achivers. The 3D effects are extremely well done and are heavily mixed with real objects interacting with the 3D images of the comic book characters. This ride incorporates water and heat as well. The 3D effects are used to create a short dropping seen which really gives the effect of droping even though you are in a relatively small space the whole time. The plot is well done and this ride perfectly captures the whole theme of the Spiderman comic series. It is truley amazing what they did with the use of a small space along with 3D effects. Well done Universal.

This ride was almost perfect. The 3-D effects were great, they sync up nicely with the real time mechanical effects, and the story is relatively easy to follow. As a dark ride, this one sets a whole new level. My only problems with this were 2. 1) Need to raise the cars a little higher or something, I could see the floor too easily (resulting in a loss of illusion) when I wasnt even looking. This may have something to do with me being 62", but still an issue for me. 2) There needs to be either animatronic or LIVE actor involvement in the ride. It would just further the illusion and strengthen my suspension of disbelief. Other than that, this is probably my hands down fav dark ride.

Innovative, exciting, cohesive, and fun for the whole family! A great, great ride. Now, if they would only put the design team back to work on some NEW attractions - the park wouldnt be such an increasing disappointment.

Best Simulation Ride Out there...The last part where you get saved by spiderman is cool

Great ride!!! It was the best Dark ride I have ever been on! Not good as the Hulk or Dueling Dragons, but still amazing!!! I love the fire and water affects! The ending is also great where Spiderman saves you! Great job Universal!!!
p.s. I HIGHLY recomend Exprees passes. The wait time is about 10 mins insted of 60.

WOW! This is awsome! Spiderman is the best simulator, the best 3D, and the best dark ride ever.:trophy: The theming is beyond amazing, and the wait is short and entertaining. The vehicles are comfortable and inovative. The screens follow the sounds and movements of the car, while the 3D specs create the illusiom of true depth. The movements and vision produce3 the sensation of moving at high speeds or falling from towering elevations. I rode it 4 times, and each time, I noticed something different that triggered my intrest each time. This ride is very much worth riding.:Thumbsup:

AMAZING this ride is one of the best ive ridden.the affects are great including when shoves the electric plug into your car and it starts shaking,when the one villian trys bitting your face,when water comes to your face when spiderman fighting that one guy,and also the heat and fire affect that was pretty cool.my favorite part is when your in the middle of the fight between spiderman and the villans and your getting toss around then you fall off the building and fall into spiderman web write befor you hit the road.spiderman is diffently a must see when you go to ioa.even if you have to wait 2 hours you should still ride it when you visit the number 1 theme park in the world.

This is, hands-down, the best theme park ride I have ever been on. I think thats saying a lot, as Ive been on quite a few. Combine an amazing motion ride with excellent 3D effects and add fire, water, electricitiy, and wind makes for an experience unlike any other in the world. They truly out-did themselves with this ride and I hope its a sign of things to come.
