A terrific drop ride. Smooth as silk on the blast-up and the blast-down. Also the ride can be operated with several variations. S&S has perfected these things.
could be taller, other than that pretty fun launch.
good freefall but the launch hurts a little.
Better than the old "Hellavator" Scream replaced at SFNE. "Hellavator" brought you up slowly, suspended you at the top, then dropped you. Scream shoots you up, then holds you, then drops you. Two rides in one. A must at SFNE. What a rush!!
I give this ride a ten for the "shoot you up" towers. That really got my heart pumping. The drop feels more intense here as well, much more so than the "lift you slowly" tower.
AWESOME!!! worth the wait. can you say adrenaline?
Scream fortunately always runs a combo program, whereby you launch, descend, then drop once more (after a handy 14 second wait) from the very top. Unfortunately, even with multiple towers in operation, Screams lines can get awfully long, time that could be spent waiting for SROS. Catch it in the morning before SROS has opened, then gawk at how much longer the line gets throughout the day. It sure is no Tower of Terror, but a great ride nonetheless.
I love this ride! I havent seen this program of the sapce shot/turbo drop combo used before at another park. As we all know, there are much taller rides out there, like Power Tower and Supreme Scream, but this ride doe very well for its 200 ft height.
This ride is so much fun and the combo ride is absoutely awesome. However, its annoying that they never run all the towers and the drop is not as intense as an Intamin by a longshot. It also could be a little higher
it brings you up real sssslllloooowwww. then it hesitates to drop you long enough that you lose your gaurd and then you fall. down down down down down down. and you bounce.
