The typical S&S tower ride. As others have stated here already, there are three different modes here to experience the 200 foot drop, and they are all FUN. Only problem is that of three towers, usually only two are running, which can increase time in line and limit choice of drop "style". In any case the line does move fairly quickly, even with just two towers running.
Decent enough tower ride, but I only got shot up, and not dropped down. Not as good as Riddlers Revenge in WB Movie World Madrid, which is at least 50 feet taller and goes both ways.
Good S&S towers. I prefer the combo sequence myself just cause it gives you the best of both worlds, and this is the only S&S towers Ive been on that have the combo. For some reason I still find this one very intense and thrilling when compared to the others. One of the best rides in the park.
Get prepared to scream this is a crazy ride that towers over evrthing else in the park i hope great escape gets one of these even if it can only be up to 180 feet
I gave a bogus review for the ride before... this ride rocks!!!! the combo tower had the best ride in the world! One second, your like lah dee dah, the whooooom! your launched off to the top of the tower, sail back down halfway, and make your accent to the the 20-story top. Once there, time seems to drip by like a sink barely left on. The SLAM! The car comes screaming down to pavement, what a rush! The car bounces up and down the tower, giving good spurts of 0 gs. When I got off, if it wasnt for the 50 minute line wait, I would ride it over and over and over.... This is the first time I have seem both towers doing combo! Probably because of Ruben studdards guest appearence (which was great!)
This ride has three very different cycles. they are Turbo Drop, Space Shot, and Combo.
Turbo Drop - This cycle is VERY suspenseful. You start out by lifting up 205 feet to the top. then you wait there, usually for about 10 or 15 seconds, depending on the crowds. If the crowds are light you hang up there for 15 seconds, if they are heavy, your only up there for 10 seconds. But it dosent matter how long your up there because it feels like an eternity. When your up there all you can do is look out, or look down. After your suspenseful 10 seconds at the top, you DROP, but it isnt a regular drop, you are actually pushed twards the ground, and thats what makes it so intense. Then you do some bounces, and come back down to the ground.
Space Shot - To me, this is the worst cycle, and unfortunately, the cycle they use the most.Although, it is VERY suspenseful. You sit there at the bottom... and wait... and wait... until you hear a burst of air, then BAM your 200 ft. in the air, and all you can do is go down. Then, the ride gets boring. You just slowly go down to the ground. So basically, you just shoot up, and experience about 2 seconds of weightlessness.
Combo - This is definetely the best of the three cycles. You start out with a space shot, but then after that, you stop right in the middle of the tower for a second, and then start to go back up slowly. Then once your at the top, it turns into a turbo drop mode, and you shoot down to earth. So this mode is a combimation of both space shot, and turbo drop. Its amazing.
Its a great ride but the park never runs the best tower (Combo) and the line is wayyyy too long.
I loved this, I rode it 4 times! at night is cool and the rare times they have all 3 are sweet too. Its better then liek the bigshot in Las Vegas becuase it locks you at the top then freefalls.
Good tower ride, line moves nicely with two towers running. Nothing too special, but i think thats apparent, not much you can do with that type of ride.
I love this ride! Best vertical tower iv ever ridden.
