My buddy has ridden nearly every Hyper with the exception of Goliath. I told him this was the BEST out there and he had his doubts. After 5 rides, he admitted, Milennium is faster and scarier, but this hyper is the most fun of any he has ridden. It is as near to flawless as a coaster design can be. The tangle of helices and bunny hops at the end guaranty a smile on EVERY riders face. The first two drops are tremendous, but the thrill comes at the hill after the photo camera (the one that crests and drops the beginning of the lift hill before the ending tangle of hops, turns, tunnels, and laughs. (One train - 15 minute wait)

Best steel coaster that I have every ridden on. Only draw back was the first time I rode it, had to wait 4 hours because someone fainted on the ride. Last summer though I purchased a fast ride machine and got 10 rides in one day! Worth the extra couple dollars just to ride this ride!

Call me crazy, but IMO this is the best coaster in the world. It is perfect in every respect with ejector air on all but one hill, floater air on the other, two great mist filled tunnels, two helixs, and three killer bunny hills to end the ride. The speed, intensity, and pacing are all perfectly maintained throughout the ride, with the trains themselves adding to the ride experience with their open air design. The ride and ques are not perfectly maintained, but the ride delivers as promised.

This coaster did not dissapoint as it was at the furthest reach of a 1000 mile trip. The airtime is explosive, The speed is awesome and the ending and tunnels bring the effect level up higher than other coasters of its type. The freedom feeling openess of the trains add to this also.
DO NOT MISS THIS COASTER!

This ride is very, very awesome. The first hill gives you a great view of the park and the river nearby. Its a shame that they had to tear out the race track at this park to put in this coaster, but all the same, its still worth it. And besides, after a park becomes a Six Flags, they have to conform. Thats nothing new.

I loved this ride so much, it wasnt what i expected but still awesome. I know i posted a fake review on this ride, but it was just to see the reactions of the people who have ridden it. But i had a good time on it, especially on the first few hills.

this coaster is one of my favorites, it has great air time, and gives u great speed. I love riding intamins trains, i think intamins trains are just a tad better then b&M hypers, trains, but not by much, and i just love the theming to this ride, especially with the mist tunnels, this is a great ride, perfect for this park

This ride is truly excellent and has a nearly flawless design. I love the way Intamin took the time to take care of every nuance to make this ride fantastic in stead of just very good.
For example, after the 1st banked turn when the train starts to head in the direction back toward the station there is a little hill, maybe 15 feet or so that drops before SROS climbs up into the next big hill. Surprisingly you feel this hill more in the front seat than the back, but it was just one of those little touches that made this ride a terrific design.

In 1999 Six Flags announced that the old Riverside Park would be upgraded to Six Flags New England, and to reflect the new upgrade SFNE would receive a mile long hyper-coaster, Superman Ride Of Steel. But because of SFNEs layout the new coaster could not be a clone of the other two Superman coasters in the northeast, instead the builder, Intamin, had to come up with a totally unique design. Eschewing the typical "big drop, two camelbacks, and a helix" layout of so many hypers built in the last decade, Intamin looked back in time and has created a classic 1920s "out and back" on steroids. The 221 first drop propels the rider on a voyage that is not for the faint of heart. Expect massive ejector air time on this ride, in fact air time is present on all but one of Supermans ten hills, and incredible speed is maintained throughout the length of the ride. People are warned to leave behind all loose objects before riding Superman, yet more often than not a wallet or cell phone is seen flying away by people in the back of the train. On few other coasters has sheer power been put to such excellent use and excitement. Little SFNE has been put on the map all because of this coaster, which has now won the title of "best coaster on the planet" by Park World magazine three years in a row.
