I cant even imagine how much I would like this ride if it was at someplace like Knoebels. I know most rate is as average, but something about it I just love. I usually ride it 5-6 times, everytime I go to KK. Its the only ride there that I truly like. The hill to the curve is just so neat and I have never rode anything like that anywhere else.

This is a great wooded ride. It has lots of airtime, a great first drop, and a giant sweeping curve (so cool). Although, it is going up in years and is begining to show its age.:thumbsup:

I dont consider this one better than Twisted Twins because it just doesnt have that CCI quality to it. Granted Twisted Twins isnt exactly CCIs shining moment but that first drop in the back is great. The first three hills provide good air but the turns seem to pump and there are severl hills that give the illusion of air when it actaully doenst exist.

This is my favorite ride in the park. Great airtime, good speed, lots of fun!

Great coaster!!! I really enjoyed this ride everytime I went on it. Couple decent shots of air, and the the gs during the banked turns were very surprising. It loses points for some sections of the ride that left me feeling "flat," but still a very solid coaster. I jsut found out this was designed and meant for the old Americana Amusement Park ... kind of wonder what the ride wouldve been like given that parks more natural style setting.

IMHO, this was the best ride at the park. With glorious PTC rolling stock this wheeled beauty delivered speed, air, and surprises. Did i mention speed? This was my favorite ride at the park and you could tell itd gotten some TLC in the off season. Too bad the Twins dont get that treatment :-(

Being the tallest or fastest ride of its kind isnt what it takes to impress me. In a wooden coaster I look for speed, airtime, steep drops and tight turns. Thunder Run has it all in a short package. It is smooth for a woodie and an overall great ride.

The airtime is good. This was my favorite ride in the park. I rode it a dozen times, front, back and middle.

\a good, but not great woodie. Good air, and a pretty good feeling of power.

This is a pretty good coaster in that it surprises me. This along with Twisted Sisters are surprise coasters. They only have one train running which gets annoying and it can be rough in the front but the back is really fun.
