Roaring Rapids is located to the left of Ragin Cajun in Marti Gras. On hot summer days RR will have lines over 45 minutes long. During Fright Fest Roaring Rapids is transformed into Blood River. (The water is dyed red.) This attraction closes at 7PM.
another great water ride at GAm, nad it does its job well. it gets you wet, no matter where you are on the raft, and is definilty a must ride on hot days. it has good speed, and can create some good splashes. overall a pretty decent ride
Ok, I will admit I did get SOAKED on this raft ride. But the only reason I did was because of the part where the raft passed fully beaneath the waterfall. The rest of the so-called rapids could barely be classified as "milds." They literally made barely any splash into the raft at all. Theres alot of water on this ride, and some good speed, but someone forgot to give the boat some ability to cause waves because I wouldve been nearly bone dry if not for the waterfall. Very dissappointed.
This is a good raft ride and you are probably going to get soaked. This is definately the best water ride at SFGA and worth riding on hot days.
It is the best water ride at SFGAm!
very fun ride.wereever u sit u r garunteed to get soaked.
Great ride! I wish it actually went into the waterfall.
This water ride I ride everytime I go to Great America. No matter where you sit in your raft youre garenteed to get soaked. Its the best water ride in the park.
this is a more entertaining way to stay cool in the hot midwest summer sun.this is also my favorite GA water ride.
