Not as bad as it used to be since my head now sticks out above the restraints = no more head trauma. The layout is actually pretty decent, and the air on the first drop is nice in the back of the train. If you dont mind a bit of head-banging, or are tall enough to avoid it, I recommend taking one ride. Its one of the more unique old Arrow models out there, and the line is generally very short as well.
I really didnt care for this one to much. The line was short and the first drop gives good air in the back, but it has the usual Arrow roughness and poor transitions. The tunnels were cool, and coming into the first cork was energetic.
a good hairraiser fast the corkscrews are really cool fealing so are the loops. butis short and gives you a headache
On a very busy day Demon can devolope a full que. Demon has 2 loops and then a tunnel, and then 2 intense corkscrews. Before the corkscrews you go thru the mouth of the demon and u go under a waterfall. Demon is one of the only coasters at SFGAm with a 36" height requirement. Demon sits 2 across per row.
This is a good ride. I thought it would be rougher. I banged my head only one and that was while entering the corkscrew. The lighted tunnel is a neat effect also.
The Demon isnt the wildest ride youll ever ride. Its a couple loops, a couple corkscrews, a couple turns, your done. Its sort of rough, but nothing compared to the great monster that was known as Shockwave. This ride is a great ride to start the day off with.
A rough piece of crap pretty much sums up the Demon. Nah, I am only kidding. Its fun, the tunnels are the best part. The double loops are also fun. Be sure to ride in the back, as you get some great airtime on the first drop, only problem with that is it will make the rest of the ride that much more painful.
This is one of, if not the BEST ride I have ever been on. It gets your heart pumping from the start, when the demon growls at you as you travel through the tunnel of lights. Then, you are lifted up the hill, only to be thrust back down into a double loop, (The rock demon is sweet, especially at night) and the loops lead right into a double corkscrew. It may be old, it may be rickety, and I may not exactly fit into the restraints (Im 64", and theyre designed for someone, 46"
but it is a classic, and its a great ride every time.
As steel coasters go, this one is smaller and maybe a 6 or 7 at best. However, there is some good air time on the first drop, but the ride gets so much better from there. The theming, although relatively minimal, adds so much to the ride. It becomes a terrain coaster, but follows a man-made terrain. The first tunnel adds some fun, and the light-up tunnel is GREAT. Falling into the corkscrews through the mountain face, and getting misted by the waterfall, just makes a very simple ride so much fun. I didnt suffer, at all, from the headbanging other reviews warn of ... and thats on two trips (one in the back seat). This ride was both mine and my fiancees favorite for the day, just great fun and smiles the entire time .. and just enough thrill to make it a true coaster.
Alright, so I wasnt a believer of the Demon before. Im still no hardcore fan, but I will admit that the ride is pretty tight. Sure it bangs you around a little but when you hear that beast growl and you smack your face on the restraint, how can you not appreciate its value. Its a park classic and is always open for walk on rides. Compared to the others its not my top choice, but this is on the Demon Scale.
