Normally I would say that "eh another Batman" and give it an 8 but this one was slightly different and in a better sort of way. First off, the placement of track around trees and water elements was a somewhat hidden and definately welcomed adaptation of your typical layout over parking lot and/or gravel. Also, I dont know why, but it seemed to pack a little more. The numbness in my feet that I normally only feel in a couple places on the other BTRs was more noticable throughout the ride.. unless, of course, I was ill or something. Regardless, a normally vry good coaster aided a bit by placement

I wanted to ride this when it just opened, but the line, understandably, was over an hour long. A few years later, I finally got to experience BTR and it was AWESOME!!!

Excellent B&M invert. While many of B&Ms inverted designs are large, Batman heads in the opposite direction by making everything tight and twisted. The inversions come rapidly and are all extremely intense. This ride is short, but never lets up and you really feel this coaster by the time you hit the brakes at the end. Overall, its an outstanding coaster, and since this was the first BTR and the first inverted coaster period, it has special meaning for me and SFGAm. (ACE has awarded this particular BTR with Landmark status, another neat bit of trivia. )

A fun ride that looks ugly. I still never over the ugly paint.

Awesome invert. One off for going too quick for me to really realize what was going on. Smooth, fast, and above all fun. Its a shame such a great ride has been cloned so many times.

Times ridden: 1 ~ Ride experience: 9 ~ Layout: 10 ~ Appearance: 9 ~ Thrill factor: high ~ Airtime factor: N/A ~ Reride factor: medium ~ Evaluation: My second B:TR coaster. I found this version to be less forcefull, and therefore, more enjoyable, than the one found at Great Adventure. Batman features five incredible inversions in a compact layout that goes through Gotham Park.

Now that Ive been on this one I have to give it props. The theming it still great on this one. The speakers works. You hear the sounds in the park, the screens are working and warning signs and intercoms directly you that you are supposed to be evacuating the bat cave. The ride still runs smooth and the ride ops were professional

This is the BEST batman. Its still extremely smooth after 12 years. Even though there was a long wait the theming kept us occupied. Everything in the queue worked perfectly. You could hear children playing and a dog barking. My favorite part was where the police car had crashed into the fire hydrant. The ride itself is great too. The Gs are insane on the first loop. The zero G roll is fun, however, its getting a little rough. Maybe the new paint will help. The last few turns always make my vision blurry. I guess thats a good thing. Theres just alot of Gs. One of my favorite aspects of this ride is the fact that it was the first batman made. This is a great ride. The thing that saved it from an 8 was the fact that its original.

This ride gets props for being the first invert and having some great theming. I remember waiting 2 hours when it first came out.
