This is my favorite wooden coaster. I prefer going backwards cause its a different feeling down the drop then you can feel on any other ride. Forwards is fun to though. Their is never a line for this ride unless you go on a really crowded day then its still a short wait though. I love the 1st drop and the following little drops after that. I dont really like the helix to much its kinda boring, but thats my only complaint about the ride. Its also great cause its a racing coaster.
I have to agree with J dawg it is the best ride (almost) in the world!
Better when you go backward! You can see the people in front of you. I thought it was gonna be so scary.... But when I got off! I went back on again and again and again
I give this ride a 10 because it was the first coaster I rode. I will always enjoy this ride. I always think about the first time when Im on this ride. Its a fun woody.
Its fun, when you dont get a bloody nose or headache from it. Too rickety. Viper is nice and smooth
Everytime I ride this I like it better than the previous time. As I ride more I just start to enjoy wooden rides more and more. They are just so unique. At the rate this ride improves for me it may be a ten someday.
Still a good first drop and some pops of airtime. I still think the forward red gives a better ride.
The thing that catches my eye about this ride is how tall the first hill is. I remember going up the lift hill and realizing that this is one big coaster. I consider this coaster pretty good for a woodie. The smoothness of the ride changes on me though. One time I rode it and it was pretty rough, and then I rode it a differnt time and it was smooth so I dont know what its gonna be like. The first hill is pretty good and then it goes into a big helix and goes up and down some smaller hills giving some good air. Just make sure you keep your hands in the train because I hit my hand on a pine tree branch or something towards the end lol. But anyways its fun, espically when they actually race the trains.
When I rode it backwards I give it an 8, it was a little intense. The first drop is pretty fun! Riding it forward is even better though so ill give the forward one an 8.5 with that first fast drop! Overall this is a good classic coaster.
The Eagle has a great first drop and though it rattles around, it doesnt hurt like the Mean Streak in Sandusky. The big helix is just as exciting as the train feels like its going to tear loose and go flying into the structure.
