The ride may shake you around a little, but dont let that ruin it. Just like everyone says, put your head forward in the corkscrews and have a good time. Its especially fun to see how many times you can ride it in a row.

Yeah, that brake run is rough, but ignore it. Shockwave is a blast, and nothing beats spending the last 30 minutes until the park closes marathoning on Shockwave because theres no one in line. My highest so far is 11 times without getting out of the seat. Even though I need asprin after riding this a lot, I love it. Itll probably be gone soon, and Ill be one of the few thats sad to see it go.

dont ride in the front it is very pinful the most painful out of all the ride.very nice drop.and alway a short line.

Shockwave may not be popular anymore, but is still a good coaster. The ride is a solid, smooth ride in the front row, but rough as hell everywhere else. It doesnt have much elements besides inversions, but if you love inversions, youd love this ride!

Incredibly painful compared to PKIs Vortex and Arrows latest megalooper masterpiece Tennessee Tornado, but it does have its place in the park and a lot of people still do enjoy it as the line usually proves. I thought Demon was a lot more enjoyable and the theming during Fright Fest was some of the coolest I had ever seen done to a ride. Still, Shockwave is a surprise for being the headbanger that it was for me two years ago, but Ill try it again next time to see if my height improves my ride on it. The layout is fairly interesting and the variety of elements is something I was glad to see on it. The structure is really picturesque, but I dont recommend riding if you usually get headaches from rides or some headbanging bothers you.

People say that it hurts you head. Just lean into the quarkscrews and enjoy a great ride. SHOCKWAVE WILL BE REMOVED AFTER THE 2002 season. Whizzer will not be.

I agree with coaster rd its a fun ride, u just gotta sit in the back and put your head forward in certain spots. Its best if riden multiple times.
