We waited 3 hours, with the line spilling out into the midway. Its a good ride, one of the longest ive been on of this type. The most memorable thing about it was all the signs warning you your going to get wet

Well, I have only ridden it once. It was this summer and surprisingly the line was fairly short when I got in line. I could definately tell it was a popular ride with the long (but empty) line. I only rode it once and dont remember a lot about it except it was fun. one of the best ones Ive been on!

The boats were updated for this season, and you can see the old ones on the access road out past Twister. When the ride was first built, there were three water features, only one of which is ever used. Near the end of DCs life this season, the Water Ceiling was also turned back on, which made up for the fact that the new boats do not get you wet. But as with all great rides, this one closed early because one of the pumps decided to eat itself and was never put back together. It is planned to be open next season, so I am looking forward to that.

Its a nice, long-ish pleasure ride through some rapids. It made me think of how much cooler itd be to run a real river than a fake one. Apparently the boats were replaced for the 2006 season. The new ones are several inches higher, so you dont get as wet.

Disaster canyon is an okay ride. For some reason, this ride always has one of the longest waits in the park. The ride itself is decent. The water however, is nasty. :puke:

HOW WET CAN YOU GET?????? this is a great ride I have been on a lot of raft rides and this one takes the soaking level to the top! its worth the wait!

it was the longest wait i have ever experienced at this park (1hr-10min) but i went on a hot and slow day its still a fun ride and definetly deserves a good rating, definetly funner than thunder canyon at cp (when i went there the waterfalls were broke i guess thats why)

Not that great. Huge wait, and just an ok ride.

Great water ride although the line can get very long.
