Its boring. The only good part was the end where you pick your movie.
This is a very interesting and long attraction that makes the science being explained fun for kids. Ellen is hysterical as always, and the dinosuars scenes are out-dated, but they are still very cool.
This was very cool. The fact that your sitting in like a movie theater and then the entire set of seats starts to move is just like "wait, what?!". EPCOT has a way of making totally mind blowing attractions and Universe of Energy is a perfect example. The movie with Bill Nye and Ellen is pretty entertaining, and funny in some parts. The "Dinorama" is great, although a bit short (understandable though since its indoors), it sort of takes you by surprise if you have never been on the ride before. To my knowledge Its the only ride in EPCOT that is just a ride with nothing else, no exhibits or anything, which brings it down a tiny bit. The show is INCREDIBLY long, about 45 minutes, which is wonderful in this case. I am always taken back by the sheer enormity of this ride as well, I mean everything in it is huge! The theaters are huge, the diorama is huge, the second theater(?) is huge, even the preshow theater is huge!!
This ride, like most of the Epcot rides, amazes me. The dinosaurs are wonderful and Bill Nye is fantastic also. This ride is great!
"Ellens Energy Adventure" made this ride. I thought the original was really boring. It was just too preachy and educational. This version is still educational, but it injects humor which makes it much more accessible.
True authentic-feeling dinosaur enviroment with surprising funny performances from Ellen and Bill Nye who make this experience truly worth it. The smell of sulfur and truly informative experience made this one of the best at Disney anywhere. We were all impressed by the entire production.
This was the ride that put EPCOT on the map originally ... now it has some stiff competition (especially in the Dino market). However, the injection of Ellen and Bill Nye (although Ellen is a lil annoying) spruces it a up a bit and keeps it fresh. The education content is much more interesting and "fun" to hear in the new storyline.
This is one very well-conceived attraction. It was quite good in its earlier, more educational incarnation, but as "Ellens Energy Adventure", it has been taken to a whole new level. The comedy of Ellen DeGeneres and her banter with Bill Nye The Science Guy (not to mention Alex Trebeck on Jeopardy), makes the Universe of Energy, not only informative, but very entertaining. The intermixture of life-size animatronic dinosaurs, multi-screen film segments, and impressive technology for moving the audience around, makes the Universe of Energy a must-see for anyone going to EPCOT. Heck, see it more than once--its great everytime!
This ride is very realistic right down to the actual smell of the forrest. I think the visual effects are stunnig and there are also realistic sounds. It feels like youre really there!
Good ride. Scared the crap out of me as a kid. Later off, I brought some earmuffs cause its a bit noisy. Good for everyone. Might scare the baby, though.
