Excellent rapids ride!! Great theming, great drop...I wish Animal Kingdom built this ride, because Kali River Rapids doesnt hold a candle to this. This ride is so close to a 10, but after riding Popeyes Bilge Rat Barges at IOA this one is just a notch below. If you want the ultimate river raft ride, Popeyes has risen the bar.

What a waste of time. I barely got wet at all.

Ill have to admit, Disney did a fantastic job theming this baby, its the only ride in DCA that really feels like you are on an adventure, just fantastic, you get incredibly soaked, but it really depends on where you sit, and its never the same ride twice, while there could be some AAs, it is the most well themed ride in the park (and yes, that includes Tower of Terror) the only bad thing about it is that it does get you incredibly wet, and soggy socks suck.

This is a great rapids ride. The wait for it was almost 2 hours, yet no one was using fastpass! LOL You start out on a pretty tame section of the ride and then head up the lifthill through grizzly mountain. After that you float along for a little while more and hit a smaller drop. Its about 20 feet. You then float for a little while longer doing some spirals, floating in and out of the mountain, etc. The best part is the ending drop that sends your car spinning wildly! You finally float back into the station. But there is one important thing that happens before you enter the station. Its the geyser. The geyser jarred our car soaking everybody. It really made this ride great. I walked off completely soaked.

This ride has its ups and downs. Here are some downs. The hand grips smell!!! The drops suck and the dont even get you that wet (they do get you wet)!!! It would have been better if it was just one big drop instead of two small ones. Here are some upes. Had some good scenery you get wet but not at the drop. This ride wasnt as good as i thought it would and for a three hour wait in the summer its definatly not worth it.

This is a ride you have to really appreciate the elaboration, detail, themeing and a bounch of elements. You are basically traveling through North Cali and you are in SoCal. I lingering around the whole area, the shop, the Q line and ride it 3 times just to appreciate the mood of Calis natural resource. I have to say this master peice is not belong to the surrounding carnival stlye areas, which is the only drawback. Otherwise, perfect. Simply the best of the type of ride and greatly improved from the mistake they made in Kali. Although Kalis theming is more fit into its surrounding and I still love Kali more, I think this one did a better job overall.

A great ride that combinds the thrill of a log ride and the wetness of a raft ride. It was great going in side of the caves and you didnt get soaked which was a plus and the dropps are great because you spin when you go down.

Best ride at DCA except for Terror. Who doesnt get wet on this ride? I rode it 3 times but never got soaked by the geyser. Oh, well.

this is a really great river rapids ride. . .what sets is apart from most other rapids rides are the two drops which really take the ride from being semi exciting to a lot of fun. . .

the best part of the ride however comes after the last drop, where you have a one in three chance of being blasted by this super powerfull gyser. . .the ride just doesnt seem as fun without it.

madness!!! i luv the scenery!! i got drenched but luckily i took off my socks and had a rain jacket thingy on!! i went on with a large group of friends!! so it was freakin hilarious!!! i luv the little touches on the barges such as drink bottles etc.
