This ride was so much fun. A very short track and you whip through it about 12 times, The big bunny hop and the back side real throws you up in the air and can be a little violent on your back. I felt like I was riding a bull, like in Urban Cowboy on that one bunny hop. I also had a ride operator high fiving us every time through the load area.
Sneaky, subversive little coaster. You really cant compare it to any other - just ride it and see. We had a great operator, an older fellow named Ron C., who really cranked her up and ran it - get this - 30 LAPS, high-fiving us every time we headed into the station!!! Try, if you can, to get the last run of the night - its a blast, and one of the craziest experiences you can have at Knoebels. I love this coaster for its speed, airtime, history and character (it dates from the 1950s, and is the only Overland coaster in existence). Its a blast, and a must-ride!!!
wow, i underestimated this ride when i first saw it,, but man, was i wrong!! the airtime was awesome and if they crank it, its disorienting
This thing is NOT a kiddie coaster. Packs a real powerfull punch for its size. Great little hills.
Dude, this ride gets better and better every time you go on it. I swear the best time was with a guy named Chuck. He might even live up to this "Ron C." fellow. He did the whole high-five thinger, and cranked it up good, and just about every time he would "stop" it, he would yell "ONE MORE TIME!!", and wed be off again. Absolutely wonderful ride.
Wow - This thing packs a punch! As others said, do not underestimate it. Dont forget to ask the operator to crank the speed up.
This was also my first coaster.
Okay, so me an my buddy got on line with the kiddies for this one. Every book we read said the operator will hit the gas on this thing for enthusiasts. We got in, asked the guy to crank it up and he did! What a hoot! Do not leave without a spin on this and make sure to ask them to crank it. You will be pleasantly surprised if not totally thrilled! (10 minute wait)
First off, This is not a wooden coaster. It looks like a Herschell Kiddy coaster but man does it fly. Fun and different
This was my first "coaster". I say "coaster", becuase I dont really count it as one cuz it goes around more than once. Its a fast, fun ride though!
A very decieving little coaster. With a bunch of adults riding this thing can really move, and the ride operators really know how to work the crowd. Make sure to keep those hands up,, you can actually reach the trees surrounding this coaster as you crest the hills.
