This ride is a "hidden gem" of the roller coaster world. This was my first coaster with inversions, so naturally i was scared. It was so much fun i rode it 6 times (NO WAIT WHATSOEVER). The BOWTIE ELEMENT is as unique an element as youll find in the coaster world. And this ride is LONG. The 186 drop is also unique. The person that gave this a one is out of his/her mind. This is a one-of-a-kind!

i usually like arrows and i liked this. going upside down only 4 times didnt seem like enough because this coaster is so long but the bowtie thing was great. but the coaster is very ugly, which i didnt understand why i mean they should be able to take care of it its their only coaster

It was my first coaster as a kid, and now its still one of my faves ... during an average shift in the fall (slow) season, we ride it between 10 and 25 times a day (depending on how busy it gets ... cant ride when we need to load ppl on it) ... the cave entrance is for effect and it seems to be working. I admit the tunnels are dark, but honestly, would you remember it if it was just like every other entrance to a ride? The incompleted theme for the helixe was supposed to be a fire-breathing dragon in a volcano. As well, the theme for the other seemingly incomplete portion of track was to go in front of a miniature version of the canadian falls and behind the american ... there are several reasons why these werent complete. At the time that the coaster was built (1983) there was no safe way to complete the track this way. Wind was a factor when it came to fire, and as for the falls, the ground is much too soft and the supports would sink with a pool of water at the bottom ... later in years, when there were easier ways of doing it, the money just wasnt there and the steel and supports ordered to finish it had already been used elsewhere. So to this day, it remains unfinished, but still an awesome coaster ... great for a first timer of any age!

Great entrance, two very intense loops followed by a wicked and intense curve and then a helix, ending up with a drop out of a tunnel and a bow-tie that flips your stomach. Problem is... after the curve following the loops and before the tunnel leading into the bow-tie element, it is possibly the ugliest coaster I have ever seen. The helix is inside some sort of round steel structure (possibly an extra "peak" to the man made mountain that was abandoned and never enclosed) and the area leading out of the helix is in another ugly steel structure (again, possibly a planned tunnel that was never completed and enclosed).

A very good Arrow multi looper. You climb 186ft and go up to 50mph. Its a very long ride taking you through the forest and into the mountain. The ride is like a huge mine train with inversions. Be careful in the que line because its pitch black and you could bump in the walls or another person.

Great steel coaster and an excellent use of the traditional Arrow style (I think Ive been on five of these, similar built, double loop steel coasters now). This one is the winner for overall ride, although THE VORTEX at PKI is a superior coaster. The trip through the mountains is great fun and the use of the bow-tie directly out of the mountain is great. That wouldve been so much better, however, if you didnt see it as you walked towards the ride (so it took you by surprise). There are a good deal of hidden parts to this ride that couldve been packed with fun and surprises, I wonder why they werent. Still, this was the coaster highlight of my Canadian trip this year and is a coaster to be proud of.

I loved this ride even way back it still manages to thrill people. The theming on the front of the ride is superb with the dragon shaped entrance as you enter right through its mouth. The trains are themed to orange dragons which I think is really cool. There are some elements of the theming that were never finished, but the fact that this thing was built inside, and outside of a mountain makes up for it. Its pretty smooth for its age and never has a line.
