Much smoother than Magnum and lots more floater airtime. The helix pulls some heavy Gs. My second favorite Hyper.
Airtime! loved it. Morgan manufacturing shure knows how to build them. I think I felt heaven on a couple of those large bunny hops on the way back.
this is one of my favorite hypers, i loved every drop, and i think this was a very smooth ride, and i loved the trains, i cant wait to ride magnum next year and compare these two rides cause they look so similar but there are differences , but steel force is one of my favorite coasters
This was my first hypercoaster, its a really sweet ride. Its probably the closest ill get to Magnum XL-200 for a while (because they look very much alike, the only real difference is that Magnum has kind of an L shape and no helix.) The helix in the middle of Steel Force is ok, Nitro has a better double helix if you ask me. But the ride is great; Lotsa good airtime, a steep drop, and the tunnel after the first drop always makes me put my hands down lol. Great ride overall, Morgan makes a great hyper.
After riding Nitro I thought that all hypers had weak airtime...until I went on this! Steel Force is a very fun ride, providing nice hills with great airtime and some nice laterals on the helix turnaround. The ride never lets up, and it seems like the airtime increased as the ride went on. The tunnels were also a very nice touch.
Overall good ride, not amazing, not nothing special, but it is very fun. The airtime is pretty good and there is almost never a very long line.
Steel Force is a great ride. With all the comparisons to Magnum, I have to add my own. The airtime on the camelbacks returning to the station is more "floater" air, while Magnum has more violent "ejector" air. Steel Force has the double helix turnaround while Magnum has the pretzel. Steel Force is a Morgan creation, Magnum an Arrow. While similar, they deliver two different rides. I prefer Magnum, but Steel Force is top notch in its own right. Sit near the front for the best ride.
The first hills are awsome. You get great airtime on this coaster. One of the best hyper-coasters. The little hills at the end are great.
Steel Force is 1 of my favorite roller coaster along with nitro.
I think this ride is a little overrated. Its no Magnum and its also not as fun as Nitro or Apollos Charriot. Its good, dont get me wrong, and the camelbacks are timed very well. I just dont see why people think this is exceptional, when its just a solid good ride.
