Very good 3-D show. The show was pretty interesting and Im glad Rick Moranis was in it and the acting was really good. Also, the effects were great as well, especially the sneezing dog, the footsteps, and the mice. The visuals were great as well, from shrinking the audience to the 3-D effects. The show was also pretty funny as well.
HORRID, JUST BOGUS, ITS THE WORST 3D FILM EVER HANDS DOWN!
I rank Honey, I Shrunk the Audience below Its Tough to Be a Bug but above Muppet Vision. This was the first 4-D show I ever saw, and it was amazing. 4-D shows are doing even more these days, but Honey, I Shrunk the Audience still remains a great one. You are watching Rick Moranis from the movies receive the Inventor of the Year award, when chaos ensues. He shrinks himself, then he shrinks the audience, then he blows up the dog. The entire theater shakes with each footstep while we are "shrunk." Some of the best parts of this show include the menacing snake, the sneezing dog, and the 999 mice that are released to run about our feet. Unfortunately, I have noticed that the mice and sneezing effects dont always work at each seat these days. Regardless, this is still the best 3-D show you can see at Disneyland. (I rank Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln on Main Street as the second best, as this is 3-D of a different sort--for your ears instead of your eyes.)
Quite unexpected. This show is really good! I love that rather than showing a 3D movie, they make it look like youre looking at an actual stage. The effects are simply amazing and you really feel like youre in the middle of it. Pure Disney magic!
one of the best 3d movie rides and on of the first to use multi sensory effects. I give it a 9 for being the better then most I have seen.
This attraction is GREAT but only for the first time. Dont repeat it. It is boring after the first time. There are some scary parts so people with young children; phobias for lions, rats, or snakes; or if you you cant handle 3D shouldnt ride. Make sure you put your feet down in this ride. I missed the surprise the first time. Needs an update.
:uhoh: My bad! I was reading a review for this attraction and noticed "Hmm, I havent posted my own review of it, even though Ive been on it. Ill fix that!" Only then did I notice that I am a big :dork: This page is for the one in California, not Florida. Im so embarassed, I could just :puke: Uh, if the sysadmin knows how to remove this review entirely, please do. Sorry bout that!
It was the best 3D show at the resort until they made Muppet Vision and Its Tough To Be A Bug. Okay, so it was the only 3D show there, but it was still cool. The movie is really good, and the special effects excite you, which the other two cant say. Even though the other two are better, though, this one is still worth going to, if you can find it.
Great the first time but really doesnt stand up to repeat viewings, due to the reliance on physical rather than 3D effects. Although based on a popular kids movie this show isnt a great idea for the little ones. The snake still scares me!
