One of the best simulators ever built! Not the best, see "Back to the Future" for the best ride expirience. I will say that waiting in line for this ride is more entertaining than any other in the world.

A very good motion ride. Imagiative and with excellent cue-line detail. I like having a droid captain the ship.

Star Tours was the first simulator ride that I ever rode, and it still remains one of my favorites. The theming throughout the queue is executed in great Star Wars detail, and the ride itself is very fun, quite thrilling, and reasonably lengthy. The incident-filled trip to the moon of Endor begins immediately, as riders exit the spaceship hanger far from the correct way. They then get to experience going through hyperspace (light speed), riding through a field of comets, fighting TIE fighters and Star Destroyers, and racing through the trenches of the Death Star. A very worthwhile experience at Disneyland, and a must for fans of simulators and the Star Wars movies. It is pretty amazing that this ride is over 20 years old now, and while I still think it is great, it is starting to show some signs of age. There have been long-standing rumors that the film will get a make-over, while still keeping the Star Wars theme. It sounds like this will finally become a reality within the next couple of years, which is probably a good idea. However, because of the nostalgia and sentimental value, part of me does not want anything about this ride to change.

Definetely one of the better simulators. The ride itself scared the heck out of me when I was a kid, but its a bit tame to me now. The EXCELLENT themeing in the queue area more than makes up for it. It needs an update though. Im sure its been said a million times, but with Episode III coming out and Disneys 50th anniversary.. it needs an upgrade. All they would have to do is update the movie.

This was a very fun simulator ride with great themeing and atmosphire. It was my favorite simulator before I ever rode Spiderman or Vurtual Space Mountian.

The best original flight simulator ride to hit major theme parks. I like this ride a lot but we need a new adventure. Still great and I always ride it on each visit.

Dated, but still the best example of a simulator ride there is. The Star Wars themeing really helps. The warp speed effect still thrills, although the ride doesnt seem as wild these days. Its nice that theres an humourous animatronic joining you for the journey. The line is almost on a par with Indiana Jones with plenty of things to spot. Fun, but needs updating.

A neat ride, with some goofy humor from the "pilot". Still a fun ride.

Everything about this ride is great, from the entrance line to the exit line. It does get a little old, the lines can get very long, and a new video (from one of the first three movies, of course) would make it better. Still, this is a great ride. Definitely a classic.
