amazing roller coaster. i have much respect seeing it set coaster standards. it was the first looping coaster to have 5 inversions and a double corkscrew! i wold give it more but 10 is tops
A good coaster, better than I expected. Good air on the first drop going into the loop, the batwing was smoother than I expected. The corkscrew over the mini golf course was unique and i didnt expect the tunnel under the mini golf course.
Viper is a decent Arrow looper. The ride opened as the holder of thw rodl record for inversions back 20+ years ago, and is thrilling a second generation with a fun ride. The ride starts out well, with a good loop and batwing, and then it hits the brakes. This is a reoccuring theme on these Arrow loopers, and that is the rough ride after the brake run. The train drops into a double corkscrew and messes around with an underground helix and a couple more turns before heading back to the station. That last section is extremely rough and just rattles the skull. However, a redeeming quality of the last portion is the fact that it is set just feet above the heads of mini-golfers, and such interaction with the course makes the ride a bit cooler. With a seven, this is a pretty good looper, even if it has seen better days, almost all of these rides have trouble in the corkscrews so I cant be too upset.
This was the first looping rollercoaster I was ever on. I think I was about 12 years old and it was impressive. I have ridden other rides since then and when I come back to rate this, I find that it is not as impressive as when I first rode it. My problem is that it is not as fast as newer built coasters. I still get dizzy when I ride it and my shoulders hurt a little from the restraints. The loops are a definite blast though and the tunnel at the end is a nice touch. Bottom line: Not spectacular, but worth a ride since usually the line is short.
was alright, i puked after i got off, dark tunnel was great, very fun
An enjoyable coaster with five great inversions. The problem here is the roughness, and that the trains come to an almost complete stop at the mid-course brakes. The tunnel at the end is a nice touch though.
I found absolutely nothing wrong with this coaster! Idk maybe im just used to magic mountains viper which is rougher but this is like a lost jewel as far as arrows go! Smooth the whole way through and intense!
Very fun, especially the corkscrews. I have loved this ride for a long time.
I dont get why they make such a big deal about those giant arrows with 7 inversions, these smaller ones are so much better. This is one of the smoothest arrows ive ever been on and that tunnel is just out of nowhere i love it!
Great Coaster. Its smooth in most parts, its just a little rough in the boomerang element, but its still a great classic coaster. Its easily re-rideable, because its fun, and it always runs two trains which keeps the line moving. I rode it 12 times when I last went, and I only rode the others once or twice.
