I LOVE this roller coaster! Weve been through so much,lol, like all the 100s of times I rode it, the gum and seat belt incidents etc. Were best friends, its the one ride ill always be able to count on for some major airtime and thrilling drops. Okay, I MITE seem a little obsessed, but u ride this amazing creature and tell me your not obsessed. Plus, Its the only roller coaster in NY that is worth the obsession. The lines are good, the wait is about 30-45 minutes tops. I give Superman an A++++++++++

This ride is so much fun. My friend and I rode it about twenty times in a row. It never gets old. My favorite part is the third from last hill after the second helix. The ride gives major airtime.

I think if you didnt like this ride, youd be kind of weird. Well, unless you just didnt really care for rollercoasters in general. Anyway, this was a fabulous ride even if I did lose my hat on it (stupid me). I was really happy when they got one at Six Flags New England.

My favorite thrill ride. The third hill provides such amazing ejector air. Not to mention the nice floater way up in the air on the second hill. The pacing is excelent. I love the straight shot across the water before my favorite element (3rd hill) The bunny hops home steel the show and the smooth impact into the break run leaves everyone without words. Hard to beat in my book.

This ride is amazing! It is very smooth, has a steep first drop, and the third hill is great!

A powerhouse of a ride! Intamin burst into the hypercoaster scene with this ride, and all the great reviews are ture! The helixes around the lake are so much fun! The setting makes it a scenic trip, and adds to the expereince.

Superman RoS is one of the best hypercoasters around!! I rode this coaster the year that it opened and it truly, I feel, broke Intamin into the market of hyper/giga coasters. This giant looms high above SFDL and is by far their best ride. The lift of 208 feet is smooth and eerily quiet! The first drop is insane!! The steepnes of it (72 degrees) was something I wasnt expecting, and that added to the rush! You drop down to a mere couple feet above the lake and then turn through mist and fog!!! Awesome! The 2 large airtime hills are fantastic, especially the 2nd - you float out of your seat for several seconds! The first helix is great, but the second one I could have done without. An overbanked turn couldve served a better purpose here. But the ending bunny hops are superbly executed and give nice airtime!! One word of caution - be prepared for a rather sudden stop! Overall, this ride is excellent, with nice drops, great airtime and intense speed. I dont think its really fair how this constantly gets compared to the other 2 Superman hypers - when this came out, it broke the mold! Yes, the other 2 may be better but they should be, they were designed later! The fact that the others are slightly better doesnt make this ride any worse. A must-ride coaster thats a blast to ride!! Perfect fit for a small park like SFDL!! (Actual rating: 9.5/10)

A great combination of drops, air and speed. The first drop over the lake can give a bit of a scare on the first ride as well... one of those "Were all gonna die!" moments. A great ride.

This is by far the best ride in the park nad in the state of New York. The 1st hill is incredible and everything after that is pure fun. the bunny hops at the end give you the best air time. Go ride this ride.

This Superman ROS is one of the best hypercoasters in the world and is very special to me because its at my home park. The airtime on this ride is unbelievable, the helix is awesome and pulls a good number of Gs on you. This would be higher up on my list especially if it wasnt for Magnum at Cedar Point which doesnt let up ANY part of the ride, unlike S:ROS which has long straight tracks in the middle of the ride. Still this is definitly on my Top 10. Get out and ride this thing!
