Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin is one of the better "new rides" at Magic Kingdom. Its a fun and interactive adventure with familiar characters (Buzz and Zurg). Its good for some friendly competition. My only complaint is that the guns are a bit hard to get used to. Maybe I just have bad aim.
Is it worth waiting over an hour in line for? No. Id say half an hour at the most. If longer then that get a fast pass.
Will the kids like it? If they like Toy Story then heck yeah.
I give this ride a 9 out of 10.

I like the ride! you get to shoot the alien thingie but then they take a really weird picture of you when you arent looking!

This is a cool shooting ride. This is a nice way to have competition within your family. Fun ride!

The Buzz Lightyear shooter was an ok ride, its a shame it is scorched by MIB across town though. The sets arent that detailed nor do they have the sort of quality I would have expected. I HATE the guns. Repease: I HATE THE GUNS. They are the most uncomfortable devices ever used in a shooter ride. I was able to rack up some decent points, and I enjoyed the ride, but a lack of quality and horrible guns really kill the ride for me.

A fantastic ride,nothing much else to say except afetr a while of shooting it can start to hurt your thumb...
This ride needs new guns like the ones from Disneyland in California...

Firstly, I find it very un-Disney to have a gun ride for kids in the family oriented Magic Kingdom park. Secondly, since the ride is in the Magic Kingdom, I found it a little odd that the cars are fairly complicated to operate, having a spinning car control in addition to the guns. Thirdly, the ride isnt that great. The targets that you shoot at look pretty bad and the gun in the car that I was using, couldnt hit anything.

This ride is prettt fun. Youy get to shoot lazers. But it is not as good as Disneylands Buzz Light Years Astro blasters.

Space Ranger Spin is a pretty fun ride that is intended to please children. As you spin around in your car your goal is to rack up as many points as possible by shooting the targets that surround you. Space Ranger Spin just felt as if it was too simple for Disney. Unlike other shooters, these targets were easily visible and didn’t really pop out from unexpected places. It also didn’t really incorporate the movie into the ride like other Disney attractions do so well. As I stepped off the ride I was asking myself, “Am I even in Disney World?” If the imagineers took more time to develop a better story and added Woody with his other friends from Toy Story, this ride would have been much more enjoyable. On a side note, the line and ride itself are filled with lots of excitement and noise so I wouldn’t advise you to ride it after a long day.

What a great dark ride. I loved toy story and the ride lived up to it. You have to shot the moving tagerts to score big points.

This ride is so fun. I think it is difficult to shoot because there are so many targets (or maybe I am just no good:-) However, my favorite part is the talking buzz at the beginning. He looks amazing. I also like the themeing. Every nook and crany of this place is covered. I do however miss the old ride (disney fans you will rememeber this..) take flight!
