This is a very fun ride. The turns add to the excitement more than anything else.

This is probably the best Mine Coaster ever. The theming is there and the ride is pretty fun.

Great FUN!!! My first coaster style ride ever, and Ill reride it over and over again everytime Im there. Just a great fun mine train, truly defining what a good mine train should be.

This is a fun coaster, in a disney sense of the word "coaster". You dont go to magic kingdom seeking death-defying thrills. But its a nice ride, not a heart stopper.

If youre looking for a true roller coaster experience, this one may disappoint you (although its a good stepping stone to the real thing). To fully enjoy Big Thunder Mountain, it must be appreciated in its entirety--a roller coaster atop a very well-done set. The mountainous terrain, makes us for a lot. Still, with the ever-escalating advancements in roller coaster technology, Big Thunder Mountain is destined to lose more and more of its appeal.

BTM is okay for younger kids but for teenagers and up, the only thing going for it, thrillwise, are the hairpin turns which I love. Not a lot of drops either. The awesome theming makes up for this but wouldnt we rather like thrills than theming? I would.

A well thememed mine train coaster but nothing more than a mine train. This ride is long with three lifts (but the third doesnt do much). This ride is better than The Runaway Mine Train at Six Flags Great Adventure. The cars are not comfortable, but are better than other small steel coasters.

A disney classic, on of their best, they went all out. Now, i wouyld like to know if its true that they change the track layout of that ride every Nnow and then. tell me please

Big Thunder is the best mine train I have ever been on. like most its family oriented. though its designed much like a classic scenic railroads of the early 1900s.

Nice little ride. Not very intensive but definitely has a portion of the good ol disney know-how added to it.
