A unique take on the traditional round-up, Nightmares is well worth riding. The spinning on this seems far faster than that of a traditional round-up and as a result the positive Gs are more intense. Then unlike most round-ups, this one goes completely vertical and gives a nice feeling of weightlessness at the apexes of the revolutions. Any fan of spinning rides needs to give this a whirl while at the park.
Nightmares is a flat ride. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.
I like this ride for one reason and one reason only: The great airtime you get as you rise up the loop. This used to be one of my fav rides, but now I prefer coasters to flat rides. Great adrenaline after the ride though. Worth a ride when you'.re in the area, and the line is always short, so if you think it looks ".kiddy". just try it out. I dare any of you to say ".this ride is for babies". while being pushed into the back of the enclosure as the ride hurls you around and around.
An intense ".round-up". style ride. I beleive the only other one in North America is at Darien Lake. They run it for a decent cycle and the ride can really disorient you.
Nightmares is a fun little ride. Its similiar to orbitor across the park but I think it has the advantage, being able to stand up is better than sitting in IMO. The ride really sucks you back and its a relaxing kinda fun ride to do, for begginers that dont really know what going upside down feels like! A good ride but nothing really that spectacular.
