This is an absolutely terrible ride. Being rough is one thing, being painful and rough is another thing altogether. Even if it wasnt rough, it still wouldnt be any fun. It is a pretty boring layout. One big hill and a few bunny hops, yawn! Anyway, the sheer roughness of this ride is mind boggleing. It shakes you ruthlessly and is just not worth the brain damage. How does an absolute crap ride like this exist, while a great ride like Drachen Fire is trashed I will never know. There are alot of cold people in the world, here is the fire wood.

A pretty fun woodie, with some nice bunny hills at the end. the drop was lacking intensity, but a good ride nonetheless.

Very, VERY rough. I remember getting off of it and thinking "A wooden coaster + high speeds + rotting track + a helix?" Thats not right! I mean, thats like orange flavored butter! You dont even have to experience it to know it shouldnt happen!

The Hurler is a good woodie and was an excellent attempt for an amateur company. It has a pretty unique layout with some nice air on a few of the hills. However, the roughness truly takes away from the experience, especially on the banked-turns. It probably deserves more like a 7.5, but I rounded up

The hill to curve reminds me of one of my favorite coasters Thunder Run at KK so I knew I would like this one. APPEARANCE-8 The ride is very nice looking it could stand some landscaping in the middle, however I have no idea whats going on in the loading platform. RIDE QUALITY-8 Not quite the quality of TR but it was pretty intense and the right amount of roughness. CAPACITY- 7 No lines when i was there so I couldnt even tell how many trains were going. FUN- 9 I love the hill to bank curve combo, the ride does seems small but most the rides here do. RERIDE-9 the only reason its not a ten is because I didnt get to ride all the rides i may skip this one until i get the other rides done. Overall-41 AVG-8.2 It seemed better then ricochet but it scored about the same so 8 it is.

Hurler has so many good pros and bad cons that this rating became difficult. First, the good stuff. Hurler was certainly "different" in its layout, and the first drop into that turn around the station was fun. From there, the bunny hills out and back gave a good bit of air, as long as the seat belt wasnt cutting circulation as the ride ops prefered. In all, it was actually one of the best rides for air that I have been on. Now for the bad... the ride was miserably rough in the back part of the train, which is a trait it shares with its identical twin at Carowinds. The ride is fun, but the roughness hurts the ride a bit, so instead of an 8 for solid air and a cool layout, Ill deduct a point for the escessive rattling.

I really liked this woodie! I kept my hands up the whole time and those bunny hills give great amounts of airtime! Do not miss this great coaster!

A very good coaster for kids ages 7-10 and OK for ages above...

this ride is much better than Hurler at Carowinds. The pacing is better maintaining speed throughout. The seat divider is still painful if you are in the back seat on the right side and are not prepared for the tossing around.

There was literally no wait when I was there. It was the best ride Ive ridden in my life! Do not ride if you do not like jerky rides or if you are under age eight.
