Featuring some of the best animatronics Disney has ever crafted for one of their rides, and sporting a soundtrack to remember, this ride is definately going to be a childhood favorite of mine. Even now I still thoroughly enjoy riding it, and look forward to it whenever Im not at Disney (and even when I am). Hell, even the line is fun to be in (when its not 190 degrees out).

Easily best water ride in the world...or in my opinion. Doesnt have as good of a drop as ripsaw falls but much better theming and story.

This version is MUCH better then DisneyLands. But the AAs on this arent historical. Those are for DLs only.

This is the best ride in the park. In some ways, this is a better ride than the one in Anaheim. This has great animatronics, but the drop is shorter and gets boring after a while. The line can get to be pretty long, too. I gave it a nine because the drop is pretty good, the ride is longer than the one in Anaheim, and the theming is great, probably the best theming Disney has done, aside from the Indiana Jones Adventure in Anaheim.

Wonderful theming and a superb layout, However, water never touches flesh on this ride, which, to me, signifies a major failure of execution in design.

You pays your money and you takes you choice... but personally, I thought this was excellent. The storyline was well done, with a little-known movie being clearly presented, some cute humor, and possibly the smoothest animatronics at WDW. The ride itself is well done: good length, nice build-up to the climax, a few surprising drops before the big one. The final drop on Ripsaw Falls is definitely better, but Splash Mountains was pretty good. Id give this a 10 except for 1 thing: not wet enough! I rode it in the front seat, back seat, middle... only minor splashing. Ripsaw Falls front seat left me so wet my underwear started shrinking. Still n all, Splash Mt is quite good. And right next to Thunder Mt RR, so get fastpass for 1, then wait in line for the other.

This ridde has a great drop... one of the best on a log flume. The themeing was pretty good, but not that great. The singing drove me crazy and was really annoying, so that brings it odwn ot a 7

This ride is the best log flume ride ever! The theming is so cool. I expected to go up a couple hills, down a coouple drops, and then have the big one at the end. But nope, we get to have a whole story along with so you can relax and enjoy most of it.

The ride is one of the best in the park.the drops are great and the themeing is good too.its cool to ride at night because there no line and its cool to see everything in the magic kingdom lit up.

My favorite Disney ride of all time, this is the best water ride in the world. I believe that this is Disney "magic" at its best. I especiallty like the drop where you go down then up again in the dark. Great theme and a really long ride that makes the wait worth it.

I have been to Disney many times and i have been to a lot of other parks. Let me tell you something, this has got to be the best water ride ever!!! Its got it all from themeing to a great stary line. Its a beautiful ride inside, and its got plenty of drops. The ride even has a little roller coaster part. The last drop is the best! Awesome view of beutiful Magic Kingdom and Cinderellas castle, the drop has plenty of height(one of the tallest log flumes in the world) and it comes crashing into the patch below. You get plenty of water to cool you off, ang when you think its over out pops a waterfall besides you(on the righ hand side of boat) This is the best in the business that only Disney can do. I love Walt Disney World and Splash mountain! Get there as soon as you can!
