Not only is this the top coaster at Valleyfair. It is also my #4 wooden coaster.

The most intense wooden rollercoaster you well every go on! Most rollercoasters break at the top of the hill.. NO! not renegade! This ride is Full Speed the whole ride and has some of the most banked helix's ever on a wooden rollercoaster. Dont let the pictures fool you, this ride is my favorite Wooden Rollercoaster Hands down!

Kinda short but deliveres from start to finish.

Hmm... This one is really tough for me not to give a 10. I was really dissapointed with this coaster the first time I went on it, in the back seat no less. I ended up riding it right after again and I had a much better experience, in the front seat. After my first ride seemed relatively boring, I was super suprised when the second ride was AMAZING. It was really hot the first day I rode it, which seemed to make it run slower. I also noticed that throughout the day it got even better.

I love this ride. So much that I went on it at least 50 times in 1 season. The front car is the worst seat IMO, because you dont get airtime, and it doesnt seem as fast. The middle is my second favorite because this is basically the only place you get good airtime. The back is by far the best because you get speed, a lil bit of airtime, and a way more out-of-control feeling. The only complaint I have is the lack of scenery. (Outlaw coaster with only cement???)

Fantastic. Simply Fantastic! The ride goes on a different drop which starts going one way, then sharply twists another. It is very fun, especially the almost inverted climb. I recommend it to anyone who can put up with lines.

loved this coaster, its indeed a great add to the park, VFs got its own big bad woodie now and best part is its GCI! lots of sharp curves galore and good little bunny hops. in my opinion it dosent beat Wild Thing - then again im more apt to steel then wood. feels a tad bit on the short (length) side but it dosent matter, it is indeed one great coaster at the park.

Renegade is what Valleyfair! has been waiting for. This ride is easily better than Wild Thing in my opinion. When you first ride it, there is no telling where you are going. This ride has the only twisting first drop on a wooden coaster in the world. It has some great airtime along with very highly banked turns. I dont know the exact angle of these turns but they are steep. This is my favorite Wooden coaster. Granted I have only been on 5 and I would love to visit Holiday World to ride there 3 woods but Renegade is a beautiful ride. If you are ever in the Minnesota area... Renegade is worth the price of admission!

Very very awesome ride. This was my first GCI ever so i thought it was pretty good. It keeps you guessing the whole and unless you are sitting in the front you will have no idea what is coming. Awesome first drop, some nice airtime, station fly by is sick. Very fast and smooth woodie, 9/10
