Made a road trip to VA from MA to ride this thing! Worth the three hour wait (computer kept shutting it down for some unexplained reason). Waited longer to ride in the front. Amazing. Cant describe the feeling.

as you watch this thing take off you see thats it is F-A-S-T. but once you get on it you realize that 80 mph is faster than you could have imagined and 1.8 seconds is a shorter time span as well. i dont care how many launched coasters you have been on. Volcano, Flight of Fear, Hulk, Rock n Roller Coaster, Jokers Jinx, WHATEVER...not one of these can prepare you for the one and only XLC. the launch is literally breathtaking in every since of the word. not only does this thing have an INCREDIBLE launch, it also packs THE BEST airtime i have ever experienced on a single hill. it is an almost life changing moment as you are looking up at the sky, to suddenly lose sight of the car in front of you as you plummet back to earth at an incredible speed. another thing, when looking up at the ride crest the hill it seems to be a very slow transition between going up and down...then again, things are never as they seem. One last thing about XLC, the trains are more comfortable than any B&M has ever made, the chairs are almost like LA-Z-BOYS!!! the ride it self is also smooth as glass. the bottom line is, RUN, WALK, DRIVE, HITCH HIKE, BIKE, DRIVE, FLY...do anything to ride XLC you wont be disappointed

Great ride! Pulls 4 Gs at launch, feels like youre being shot out of a gun. back seat really whips you over the top but front is the best. i have ridden this ride countless times. once, i rode in the front car at 10:07 at night. folks, this is the best way to ride it. for a split second at the top, just before you turn straight back down, you can see the whole park lit up.

What can you say...the best I have ever ridden!!

GREAT COASTER!!! Good points: fast acceleration (0-80 in 1.8 seconds), good Gs (4), good drop (165 ft.) Bad Points: needs more, like most new rides LONG LINE.----6/10/01 I rode it in the first car. In this car you really fell the Gs. A way better ride experance.

Totally wicked, that launch..., Its the best! Front is a must. The only things keeping it from a "10" is the length and capacity, but what can you expect from a prototype ride?

Insane is the only word I have to describe the acceleration.
