Now called "Boo Blasters on Boo Hill" (with the CF purchase), this is a fun interactive (shooter) darkride. Great theming for the queue too.

One of the best shooting dark rides Ive been on. The theming was top notch, both in the queue and during the ride. All of the guns worked flawlessly and the ride was very long. Throughout the ride were tons of targets and some even had some animation after they were shot, but there were some parts of the ride lacking in targets.

This was very fun, and it surprised the h@#$ out of me that I actually ignored this solid ride for 3 years at my local park! I rode 3 times in the 103 degree weather 8-8-07, and had fun each time. The themeing and landscaping of the queue were perhaps the best in the park. It included the Mystery Machine stuck in the mud, grave stones, a good entrance, an impressive looking "mansion," and profiles for all the Scooby Doo characters in a lush, green forested area. Why I was shocked by all this was KDs addition the next three years (Tomb Raider, IJTC, and Water Works) have basically butchered the landscape versus preserving it. Anyway, the ride itself if good and dark, the spoofs are decent, and there is plenty of stuff to shoot. I managed a score over 2500 points after being held in the last scene with the money bags for a couple of minutes. Overall it is a nice "old school haunted house" with a new school flavor. Not quite enough to get an 8 or 9 though!

Very typical of these types of dark rides. It is always fun to shoot stuff, but no real reason to do it more than once. I liked parks so much better when there dark rides/movies had orginal themes other then just cartoons. Oh well I guess I am just getting old.

Um, I felt compelled to write a review for this ride to dethrone it as the alleged #1 ride in VA according to TPC So yeah, its a nice ride and a solid dark ride. The kids love it, and me and my friends enjoy pwning ghosts too. Overall a well-rounded attraction at KD and worth a spin if you find yourself bored to tears as I often do at Kings Dominion LOL

Since rethemed to Boo Blasters on Boo Hill, which is one of the most comically bad names in amusement park history which I might add, this shooting dark ride is one of my favorites. The ride building and the surrounding landscape looks fantastic and the neon lighting inside the building is a very nice touch. While the ride lacks the highly impressive 3D figures of Men in Black or Buzz Lightyear, this one has plenty of responsive targets to shoot. They are just 2D cut-outs, but when hit they become animated which is a very nice touch. Best of all, the attraction is incredibly long (4-5 minutes) in length. If you want to escape the heat and are a fan of dark rides, make sure to check this shooter out.
