Very poor classic simulator. The rockets exterior looked great and the interior was air conditioned, but thats all the ride had going for it. The movies quality was horrible and very blurry and the sound was just as bad as I could barely even hear anything. Also, the movements werent coordinated well with the film and were very jerky as well.

The Astroliner is a classic Wisdom simulator that is severely outdated. Located to the left side of Dutch Wonderland, Astroliner is in the Space area of the park. Across from the new VR Voyager motion simulator, Astroliner is kept to show how much better motion simulators have gotten. Always a walk-on because of a good capacity, the Astroliner has many rows on each side of the simulator that each seat 2 people. By far the best seats are towards the front of Astroliner because you can see the movie best and you go the highest off the ground. During the ride, you get some rough motions because the ride is dated making some of the motions a bit jerky. Also, the worst part is the quality of the movie. Its very blurry and very hard to understand whats happening. Also, the ride has very little sound and its almost impossible to understand whats going on. Overall, I recommend the Astroliner to anyone who wants to see how much better modern day simulators are. People who enjoy space might enjoy the Astroliner more than I did.
