Just about the best designed ride in Park history. Fun, disorientating mayhem. Whenever you hear screams in a park, it's coming from The Roll-O-Plane.
This was a decent roll-o-plane. Vertical as always was fun and gave a unique ride, but horizontal threw me around quite a bit. The cycle was good on this one as well and the ride looked to be in great shape.
This was a pretty awesome flat ride. It superficially resembles the loop-o-plane, but this one never inverts. Instead, the vehicle rotates as it goes round and round so that youre never in the upside down position. It therefore feels like a plane dive bombing toward the ground and then pulling up again at the last moment. The arm on this one doesnt stay perfectly vertical at all times either, so there really are some funky sensations as you dive and roll all over the place. I really enjoyed all of the classic old flat rides that Lakeside had to offer. With the roll-o-plane, the loop-o-plane, the rock-o-plane, the whip, and a few others, this was the best collection Ive come across in the western United States.
