Im glad they took this ride out. it hurt way too much. I mean it was not as bad as some SLC coasters but it was pretty brutal. Colossus is much much better. The airtime was actually painful on this ride and it was too shakey to be enjoyed.

I had just been on Colossus and thought that it was very bumpy, but this is just ridiculous. Even at the smallest little hill the train would violently shake and rattle. Colossus was bumpy, but at least it was not bumpy to a violent and painful extent. Psyclone gets very painful and this was the first time on a rollercoaster that I had intense pain in my stomach as I rode. I swear it felt like my intestines were being throw around. Every time we hit a drop it would be intensely painful, and when we went on Scream later that day I felt the same pain that I had not felt earlier in the day. I hope this is only temporary and this ride hasnt done any permanent damage. Good thing I went on this toward the end of the day, or else I would be in pain all day. I usually dont recommend a ride to be torn down, but this ride seems like it could be dangerous to someone more overweight than me or older than me. The space this ride takes up could be used more productively, say, a drop tower or something. Anything is better than this. The drops were good, but I really dont remember much about them because all I remember was the intense bumpiness. Not recommended.

Wow. This is possibly the worst ride in existence. Its right down there with hercules. After waiting 10 minutes for the front I had expected a pretty good ride, boy was I wrong. The only good thing about this coaster was the airtime on the first drop. After that its all pain. The turns are brutal. I remember clutching my side for weeks after. My body was thrown in more ways then I could have possibly imagined. The whole ride felt like it was about to fall apart. The ride ops stapled me in too. Whenever we hit even the smallest bumb, my legs would jam up against the restraints. Try to leave some room if possible while riding. I still cant believe that B&M made the trains. Ouch!

This ride is just too painful to go on ever again. The drops are fun but very painful. Why cant they take this ride out and put something better.

Not much positive can be said for this one. I cant believe that Magic Mountain can have this among their extreme coasters. This is a pretty poor roller coaster. Too short and too rough.

Too rough for me, I felt like I would throw up when done, way too shaky.

Im almost afraid to post this, but here goes. I havent been on as many wood coasters as some people, so I wont compare it to other woodies. I will simply talk about the ride itself, and I think Psyclone is great fun. The first drop is pretty intense, and all of the hills that follow provide a neat sensation too. I wouldnt call it airtime, I guess its just that you do slow down considerably going up each hill, but then you get yanked down the other side. Riders are shaken back and forth, but I kind of look for this in a wooden coaster. Maybe Im immune to Psyclone (as I know exactly what to expect, because Ive been riding this since it opened back in 1991), but I dont find it unbearably rough. I see other people coming off the ride in agony, yet I am never in any pain whatsoever. Call me crazy, but I honestly enjoy this coaster a lot.

First off, this is no remake of the Coney Island Cyclone, this ride is horrible.

The good news - decent air on the first drop and the ride ops will let you keep riding if no one is waiting for your row.

The bad news - your spine should never be compressed in the manner that it is on this coaster. I rode in both the 2nd car and the last row and it is just a painful in the front.

"Psyclone, I know the Coney Island Cyclone, and you are no Coney Island Cyclone."

Psyclone is just painful. Wooden Coasters are supposed to be bumpy, but psyclone takes it to another level. If your going to ride it, I suggest leaving some extra room on the restraints

This Rollercoaster is very rough. "Rollercoaster" in Utah is better then this picece of garbage. It was ok but not as good as the one in Lagoon In Utah. "Rollercoaster" Is very smooth. I was not impressed with pysclone, for a six flags ride this was not impressive. If you like Pysclone you should come to Utah and ride "Rollercoaster."
