this is a great ride and a truly unique experience! you get some very strong gs near the bottom and the speed isnt too bad either. the spinning doesnt necessarily make it dizzy but rather gives you a very different sensation, like you think youre about to hit one of the supports. my favorite part was looking DOWN at the lake. a very good thrill ride, glad cedar point added it. a must-ride if you go.

maXair is definitely a fun ride. It gives you that "stomach drops to your knees" feeling. The line moves very quickly. Ill admit when youre standing on the ground watching it go, it looks very intimidating but its not as bad when youre on it. The best part is when youre high up in the air and you can look down at the ground as you began to swing again and rush past the people in line. Ive noticed people tend to scream A LOT on this ride though, so be prepared. Also, if it rains while youre in line, **dont get out of the line**. It doesnt take long for them to start it up again and by that time other people leave the line, making your wait even shorter.

Just plain fun ride. I thought it would be a little more intense then it is but the ride was a great addition to the park. In my opinion it is now the second best swinging ride in the park to Skyhawk.

Well, there is no genuinely better word to describe this contraption than just plain "fun". I think that, placed among everything else ridden at the park, MaxAir grabs the bait of putting the largest smile on your face. It is a little disorienting, especially towards the highest point in the cycle, but mostly only pleasant fun and chuckles are developed from this attraction. What an excellent flat addition.

My favorite flat ride. This think is great. When you look at this ride you would expect the tummy tickling (mildly nauseating) sensations of a swinging ship ride. Not once did I get this. What I did appreciate was stellar speed and being greatly disoriented. This is a great thrill that is comfortable, quick, and thrilling the whole way.

MaxAir really surprised me. In line anticipating it freaked me out because we had to wait 45min due to rain and all I kept thinking is that I would be sick. I love coasters but Ive never liked spinning rides. When I entered the ride and it started to move slowly counter clockwise I was still scared but once we lifted in the air the sensation was beautiful, not nauseating at all for around 70mph. I would just advise keeping your eyes open, otherwise you could get disoriented. When your feet point to the sky it was not as scary as it appears at all. Very comforting feeling like you are flying. Another cool ride once again at Cedar Point.

I just love pendulum rides. I still think I like Delirium better but I did like maXair. This is a thrilling ride make sure you ride it when you are at the point again.

This ride didnt surprise me very much due to experiencing Delirium earlier this year but the ride was still amazing. Very disorienting and intense. The views are amazing and that whole area of the park looks really good now. Another cool feature is the strobe lights at night and the spotlights in the bottom of the pendulum. A very cool ride that should be experienced. The ride has found a comfortable niche in the land of coasters.

Not intense or extreme, but very aptly named - you get lots of air on this ride, and a fabulous view of the park (albeit upside-down). Highly enjoyable, especially if you want some downtime from the big rides.

Amazing ride! The maXair is very thrilling and fun. The capacity is 50 people at once so the wait is very short, no matter what the sign says. I rode this once in the day time and decided to come back to ride at night. Both times were great! One to definitely ride at Cedar Point!
